Iman, and some things in between :)

Hi mommies,

What do u think about IRIZ? Have u test drived yet? Please do so :) By doing so I mean, drive to test bukan pergi masuk kereta pegang2 steering and dashboard ya..

I have mixed feelings for this baby this time. Ahh..takpelah we save those feelings for later.

As for iman, it had been nearly 10mths of schooling and alhmdulillah for a 3 yr old he had improved a lot in terms of his communication skills, and also social interaction. I plan to send amsyar to school as well but we'll see about that :) The misery of me suspecting him of having mild autism is still there and now as he starts talking, I believe I have to give him more attention. His sentences are really long and complex. It raises my consent just listening to them..are these signs? Am I just paranoid.

Last nite he asked me "mommy may I have some more please? This is the last time, pinky promise.." Shoving his pinky finger to me.I was quite stunned.it was in perfect English.stunned in a way, was I supposed to be concerned a 3 yr old could speak this way.and I nvr do pinky promises before.never.

I found him several times, counting ants on the floor, and counting circles on my bed sheet and when he reached 11, he started 1 all over again as he only knew to count until 11 as for now. Counting grass in front of our house.and sometime the cars that passes by. Am I just over worrying? I wonder.

In any way he's still my sweet cupcake. My lil pumpkin. My baby.

We'll really postpone on having another baby this time. My 2previous scars should be a perfect reason for those inquiring. Deep inside, we really need more time. This time of the decade, quality is what counts. I beg to differ if you think quantity is treasure.

Syukur diberikan segala nikmat dan rezeki alhmdulillah. We're struggling of course.but others out there are even worst than us. So who are we to question what's should be and what should be not. Life is as we sculptor it to be and to believe, what is out of our control is under Allah's hand.

I really believe, my marriage was an eye opener to me when my in laws who are struggling to make ends meet in daily basis. And how I could help them.

I am no rich girl.but I learnt to live in modest n simplicity.enjoy the best of life and stop complaining.and don't value worldly things as much. Growing up in poverty, my husband had learnt the other way around and valued brands and high status and was surprised to find out my family does not even care if some clothes we own are from bundle shops (kehkehkeh). I think maturity also played a great role in this.
This marriage was an eye-opener for him too.
Alhamdulillah..so much differences and too little in common makes it much fun to dig more from each other each day :)

Enjoy your day mommies! Do drop me a comment if you have anything to say esp about Iman's condition.

Alami Proton 2014

In conjunction with the launch of Iriz, Proton had held the plant open for public for the whole 2 days last weekend.

I couldn't resist of bringing the boys in as our workplace is like never opened for public access and we have no authority to bring children in like govt offices or schools (my mom's a teacher- I followed her once in a while)

Both boys were in awe! And alhmdulillah gained some new sights of what's happening in mommy's workplace :) though amsyar dozed off in the middle of the factory visit..he he..

Proton really should do this more often. Those keyboard warriors really put their keyboards down this time after test driving IRIZ.

Belum try test driving? You're in laggard too mucho sis..mommies with babies I really recommend u this car when all the baby seats in the world won't mean anything if you're tucking it in a non safe car. I think the management target for youngsters were a lil bit offset as safety is our selling point yet selling it to hipsters who doesn't even value the seatbelts :)

Enough said. Let's enjoy some photos

Cukuplah tu kan?

Till then,

Love,

A walk in KL di malam minggu

Last Sunday night after a birthday party of a friend of mine, we decided to take a stroll into the streets of KL.it had been a long time since the last time we've done this. The boys were already fast asleep when we hit federal highway so our plan was on! Going through Bangsar, one of our fav restaurant Ali Cafe was already closed and built a flyover on it to direct to kg abdullah hukum. The roads was empty that time so we had the road to ourselves making observations of once our fav lepak places.

We drove pass Masjid Negara, the old train station and reached Dataran Merdeka which was full with people I think just having a time off di malam minggu like us.these people looked decent enough and some families were even observed. Maybe pesta merdeka was still on as the replica of tugu negara was still there.

We didn't stop and drove on.

We pass the old buildings of Central Market, the jalan silang, and saw many homeless or the gelandangans already calling their day off fast asleep in corridors along CM to kotaraya plaza.Mydin mall of jalan silang is still there.the streets were already empty with just few cars including us.this was once the route I always took during my student days when I had to take the bus home at pudu. Petaling street was still busy with some alphards and accords escorted by policemen.hubby says these were the pure gangsters head of KL. Ohh..

Moving through we passed the old puduraya which had been transformed into UTC. The building was already nice, crooked scary stairs changed into escalators. But busses underneath were still there preserving its main purpose of a historical bus station.

We moved on heading towards Times Square area. Bukit Bintang area which is now the 'new' heart of KL. Passed through the runtuhan area of jalan hangtuah which burst few months ago and got stuck in front of Sungei Wang plaza and Pavillion.Traffic was still heavy here whilst on the other side of the town was already asleep. People were still strolling along roads. A complete difference. People looked nice and loaded and there were no gelandangans sleeping spotted.hmmm..

We moved on. Hubby wants to see what had changed in Chowkit road. Chowkit road??!! Hmm.

We went straight into jalan sultan Ismail passing through shang ri-la and UniKL and went via Jalan TAR. A complete diff view which we cannot get in daytime. Sunyi je..seronok tgk. We passed the legendary Asoka Palaikat the first kain pelekat importer in malaysia and turned into jln raja laut.

Then we reached chowkit.

Nothing changed. Lorong Hj Taib was still full with sex workers waiting for their catch. Some were too pretty to be a woman. We can tell don't we? Ahahaha. Some things just don't change around here. More gelandangans were spotted already in lala land, and few social workers were busy carrying food around to be distributed among them. Children were spotted around as well. Anak2 lorong barangkali playing outside unsupervised at this hour. Perhaps shoo-ed out of their 'home' so mama can work. Sad but true.

We drove along.passing all of them.
Hubby asked if they're all malays? I'm afraid yes. We moved on. I felt a little sad, a little Syukur on blessings that we have. Alhmdulillah.

This is KL.
This is life reality.
People are just people.
Some change, some just don't want to.

Reached home around 2am.
Turned on the a/c and tugged into our comforters hugging each other.
At least we have each other..and we need to be more Syukur for all what we have. We can only change ourselves where nobody else can help us to

Thank u for the walk.

I love you.
