Care2share - What is tongue tie (ankyloglossia)?

It happened that i came across one of my friends, who was having problems to breastfeed her newborn. She suspected it was caused by her son's tongue-tie condition. Mashallah, i never heard this before so lets explore and share. I hope so much that my babies will all be healthy and born perfect. (T-T)

Tongue-tie

Tongue-tie (ankyloglossia) happens when the string of tissue under your baby's tongue (frenulum), which attaches her tongue to the floor of her mouth, is too short. If your baby has tongue-tie, her tongue can't move freely, and this can cause problems. If your baby has mild tongue-tie, it may not affect her. But if she has severe tongue-tie, her tongue may almost fuse to the bottom of her mouth. 

Doctors differ in the way they diagnose tongue-tie, especially in mild cases, so it's difficult to know how common it is. Some studies show that about four per cent of babies have tongue-tie, while others claim that it affects about 11 per cent. There is no evidence that tongue-tie is something that babies inherit.



How can I tell if my baby has tongue-tie?

Your baby may be diagnosed with tongue-tie during her first routine check. Your midwife will put her finger in your baby's mouth to check the roof of her mouth and her tongue. But tongue-tie is not always easy to spot. It may not be found until later, for example, if your baby has feeding problems. If you and your baby are finding breastfeeding difficult, ask your midwife, health visitor or doctor to check for tongue-tie.

Breastfeeding isn't easy for every mum, and if you're finding it hard-going, it may not be anything to do with tongue-tie. Talk to your community midwife, or ask to be referred to a breastfeeding specialist, so you can get the help and advice you need.


How does tongue-tie affect feeding?

If your baby has mild tongue-tie, she may not have any feeding problems at all. But if her tongue can't move freely, she may:

• have trouble latching on
• slip off your breast while feeding
• not gain weight as expected

If your baby is struggling to feed because of tongue-tie, you may have sore, painful nipples, which may make you both feel frustrated. Babies who are bottle-fed and who have tongue-tie occasionally have trouble with making a good seal around the bottle teat. This may mean that the milk leaks, and your baby may suffer from wind due to swallowing air.

Will tongue-tie affect my child's speech development?

Tongue-tie is sometimes blamed for speech problems, and this is often why surgery is recommended.
In one small study, having a minor operation did improve children's speech problems. However, there isn't enough evidence to prove that there is a link.


How is tongue-tie treated?

The treatment for tongue-tie is a straightforward operation called a frenulotomy. A doctor or specially-trained midwife puts a snip in the string at the base of the tongue (the frenulum).

In young babies, this snip is often done after just numbing the area. It shouldn't cause your baby any pain, and if she's very young, she may even sleep through it. If your baby is older, she may need to have a general anaesthetic, and the operation could be more complex. Not all experts believe that babies and children with tongue-tie need treatment. Some experts say that it is often unnecessary, and can cause side-effects, such as bleeding and infection.

Some babies may be fine without the procedure. However, guidelines say that frenulotomy is safe for young babies and that it could help with breastfeeding problems, which often disappear straight away after the treatment.

Weekends CNY ni takdelah duduk dirumah sgt sbnrnya. Byk activity luar sb ada wedding. Ada kenduri aqiqah, tapi syg xsempat nk pergi.

So mcmana cuti CNY korang? Bila dh cuti, bolehlah masak lama and bermutu sikit. Mlm mkn besar, kita masak ala kampung. Sup tetel dgn daging goreng. Yang ni mmg laku, kena pulak dgn nasi panas2 :) Sambal belacan adabi pun boleh tahan sedap juga. Cubalah :) Ok lah utk yg simply pedas berasa.

Ptg Jumaat baru bergegas ke Sg Buaya utk Majlis Akad nikah sepupu belah ayah, Suhaila. Cantik manis je pengantin in pink dgn pelamin DIY. Creative jugalah. Muda lagi sepupu yg ini. Rasanya br 22 kot. Baguslah kahwin muda. :)  Alhamdulillah dgn dua kali lafaz settle jadi isteri org.

Baby of  Nordiana Yusuf my ex-proton colleague. Alhmdulillah, wpn dah tak semajikan (is this even a word? ;p), the friendship is still there :)  Congrats dyana for the new bundle of joy. She has 3babies altogether now, tp mamanya kecik molek je mcm student form 5 ;p

NORCUTIN 5mg

Starting on norcutin today after being 2weeks++ late with negative UPT under doctor's prescription. Hope this works.Inshallah. As need to be on Noriday as soon as possible.And as being monitored closely by her, i need to get my period coming before starting on anything.3rd pregnancy in near future can cause fatality in me due to two poor spacing uterus scars.





And two boys are already a handful for me. For now tho.At least we tried.Looking for options for IUD after 6mths.but don't want to be too late like baby amsyar last time ;p


If there's baby 3.0 soon to be, i'll accept her with my open arms.
Others are on clomid to get babies.Nikmat Allah apakah yg cuba kau ingin dustakan?

Mode : Happy today as the baby check-up this morning went all well :)
Alhamdulillah.

Lil bro inside is now 2.487kg and heartbeat is 160.
Head's down but still not engaged.

So far so good :)

Weight-unchanged from last two weeks, a good thing so no need for air gula test what so ever :)
(wow..as i had been eating all those foodies everyday I think!~)

So everything's looking fine. As of now. So another 4wks to-go..insyallah.
The doctor is also always positive which makes every check-up something fun, though waiting time at the clinic is near to 2hrs. I have a good lesson learned experienced from Iman's time :)
Wish Hosp Putrajaya Labour Room is vacant on my delivery day.

So just a quick lunchtime update for today.

Strength to carry on.

I really don't know where to begin.Well, I have not many followers or readers so I really tend to keep this memo as a memory for my self. A note of the happenings around me. Well that is really the reason for me to blog in first place actually.

A friend of mine told me that somethings that are good/bad are better being shared with others so that other people could pray for you as well. A good thought- i think!~
Thank you my dear friend. I'm the type who always prefer to believe in silver linings on each clouds.Seeing the best behind what mishaps happen and try to be grateful of what we already have.

But tell you the truth its very hard.
Its hard to be strong. Even to pretend to be strong.
Sometimes, watching Iman's innocent face while he sleeps in my arms gave me the strength I needed. I need to be strong for this little man. This little human being who beams up each time he sees my face. And smiles every morning when i wake him up to change his nappy before going to his babysitter.
My strength, my sunshine, my pride.
My lil hero.


To be frank, yes - I'm now  10 weeks pregnant. Again.
An accident? No.A miracle. A bliss.
Alhamdulillah.Happy to conceive again.
Twice the UPT test.And there's the two lines.
Alhamdulillah. We're content.

So off we went on with our lives as usual and the nauseas came to visit starting on the seventh week. Then finally we decided to have our first scan on the 9th week.
Last weeks check-up and first scan sent me devastated.
The sac was there. Size up to what it supposed to be.In the womb-exactly where it should be.
But the baby could not be found.
Whatt??All these nausea and yet no baby?I was really really upset. The mood and the morning sickness had also worsen the feeling.

But my gynea said that maybe her equipments are not that good and propose to me to get a scan from under. Yes-popping a microphone-like device from your vagina to get a better look. But she does not have that in her clinic- and would write a referral letter instead. Her prediction - we maybe need to have a D&C. Yeah, I remembered quite well how developed Iman looked during our 1st scan in 7wks before. And surely we should be able to see him already in 9wks.Mmm...

I preferred Hospital Putrajaya as always- as some private hospitals are not that hygienic and are not really equipped with up-to-date medical devices and sometime even blood bank supplies (scary isn't it?). Yeah,I'm not kidding-government hospitals are much much much more trustful. Trust me.

I'm due for the check-up next Tuesday.
Let me enjoy this Aidil-adha first before any bad or good news. Hari raya would be not much fun if you have to run through your confinement period in it. Whether to go under D&C (Oh Allah give me strength to let go of this baby) or to be strong enough for this new addition to our small family.

All those little toes. little nose, tiny ears and all. :)

I'm hoping I'll be strong for this.Please Allah give me the strength I needed in facing this.

Friends- please do pray for me. For the best for me, for the baby.

I believe that Allah has good plans for us and He will test his creatures based on the strength He has given them. I feel blissed. Pregnancy is always a bless. As some of my dear friends are praying really hard each day to conceive and waiting anxiously each month to be late. But Allah has better plans for them.

Lama xbercerita pasal Iman.Anak mommy yg bijak :)

Iman dgn pak uda. Kopiah biru kiut kiut mommy beli kat bazar alamegah :)

Iman is already 6 setengah bln ++ :)
So far milestones yg dia dh buat/berjaya buat mmg mengumbirakan hati mommy nya sbg seorang ibu. Rasanya mana2 ibu pn bangga dgn apa apa jua pencapaian anak2nya. Btul x?
Jom kita tgk apa yg Iman dh pandai skrg :)

1. Pandai makan!~ Yes, Iman has started officially on solid food. Musti 2 bowls each day! Xkesah la beras cerelac ke..bubur nasi cmpur ikan bilis ke..mst licin.mesti happy time mkn. Pagi sekali, ptg skali..Tp susu still mcm biasa 5oz  5-6bottles per day :) Latest favorite - kurma..suka betul.sb manis kot :)

2. Mengesot..ok speed sudah laju skrg..xterkejar mommy. Stakat ni dh 3x jatuh katil. Mana xnye..xmenyempat nyempat kita paling sket je..bumm dh tersembam..mujurla anak mommy ni superboy. Nanges kejap ajer..pastu bleh sengih2 suka :)

3. Tidor kat lantai atas toto dh skrg. Sb crib dh terlalu sempit nk berguling2. Time tido mcm org besar. Berguling2.. paling kiri kanan. angkat kaki peluk bantal. Tp apa jua aksi-puting still lekat dlm mulut yerr..

4. Tahu nama sendiri. And menyahut bila dipanggil. Bila daddy panggil smbil depang kan tgn..laju je mengengsot2 ala askar ke arah daddy..laju.dh smpai dekat hulur tgn suruh daddy angkat.. alahai cute sgt!~
Pandai anak mommy nih..

5. Pandai angkat bontot..dh nak merangkak.tp still jatuh2 lagi..lom terer :) Pandai panjat badan mommy and daddy bila kami tgh baring..nk g ke seberang. Sekarang siap goyang2 punggung lagi :)

6. Suka sgt2 plastic makanan/keropok/roti gardenia 70sen tuh..pantang jumpa..mesti ronyok2..

7. Kertas pn pantang jumpe juga.habis la dwg2 and note book mommy! Ronyok, koyak masuk mulut..puekk~

8. Favorite toy : Sin chan mak uteh bagi :)

9. Favorite game : geletek perut..hehehehehe..

10. Last but not least : sudah tahu klu mommy pakai tudung tandanya nk g jalan!~ Aduh..pantang sungguh, mesti nk dukung smp masuk kereta :)



Alhamdulillah sudah besar and pandai anak mommy skrg..
Just very gratefull for this chance of being a mother that Allah has given to me..lbh sedih lps tgh cerita kat ASTRO- Satu permintaan lakonan Eja and Mia Sara..3times conceived tp miscarriage.

How will I know when my baby's ready?

Some info I found useful from babycenter.Lets share!

Your baby will give you clear signs when he's ready to move beyond liquid-only nourishment. Cues to look for include:

• Head control. Your baby needs to be able to keep his head in a steady, upright position.
• Losing the "extrusion reflex." To keep solid food in his mouth and then swallow it, your baby needs to stop using his tongue to push food out of his mouth.
• Sitting well when supported. Even if he's not quite ready for a highchair, your baby needs to be able to sit upright to swallow well.
• Chewing motions. Your baby's mouth and tongue develop in sync with his digestive system. To start solids, he should be able to move food to the back of his mouth and swallow. As he learns to swallow efficiently, you may notice less drooling – though if your baby's teething, you might still see a lot of drool.
• Significant weight gain. Most babies are ready to eat solids when they've doubled their birth weight (or weigh about 15 pounds) and are at least 4 months old.
• Growing appetite. He seems hungry – even with eight to ten feedings of breast milk or formula a day.
• Curiosity about what you're eating. Your baby may begin eyeing your bowl of rice or reaching for a forkful of fettuccine as it travels from your plate to your mouth.

How should I introduce solid food?

For most infants, you can start with any pureed solid food. While it’s traditional to start your baby on solids with a single-grain cereal, there's no medical evidence to show that introducing solid foods in a particular order will benefit your baby. Good foods to start with include pureed sweet potatoes, squash, applesauce, bananas, peaches, and pears.

First, nurse or bottle-feed your baby. Then give him one or two teaspoons of pureed solid food. If you decide to start with cereal, mix it with enough formula or breast milk to make a semi-liquid. Use a soft-tipped plastic spoon when you feed your baby, to avoid injuring his gums. Start with just a small amount of food on the tip of the spoon.

If your baby doesn't seem very interested in eating off the spoon, let him smell and taste the food or wait until he warms up to the idea of eating something solid. Don't add cereal to your baby's bottle or he may not make the connection that food is to be eaten sitting up and from a spoon.

Begin with a once-a-day feeding, whenever it's convenient for you and your baby, but not at a time when your baby seems tired or cranky. Your baby may not eat much in the beginning, but give him time to get used to the experience. Some babies need practice keeping food in their mouths and swallowing.

Once he gets used to his new diet, he'll be ready for a few tablespoons of food a day. If he’s eating cereal, gradually thicken the consistency by adding less liquid. As the amount your baby eats increases, add another feeding.

How will I know when my baby's full?

Your baby's appetite will vary from one feeding to the next, so a strict accounting of the amount he's eaten isn't a reliable way to tell when he's had enough. If your baby leans back in his chair, turns his head away from food, starts playing with the spoon, or refuses to open up for the next bite, he has probably had enough. (Sometimes a baby will keep his mouth closed because he hasn't yet finished with the first mouthful, so be sure to give him time to swallow.)

Do I still need to give my baby breast milk or formula?

Yes, your baby will need breast milk or formula until he's a year old. Both provide important vitamins, iron, and protein in an easy-to-digest form. Solid food can't replace all the nutrients that breast milk or formula provides during that first year. See how much breast milk or formula babies need after starting solids.

Ramadhan Journey - Day 22

Alhamdulillah..dh masuk trimester ke-3 dh Ramadhan thn ni.
And Iman pun dh masuk 6months yesterday!
Makanya saya pun dh berjaya exclusive pumping for 6mths and still flowing.
Ok too much information.

Wpn tidak berjaya exclusive breastmilk.I pasrah.
6mths pumping only is an achievement..is a HUGE challenge for me.
With all the huffing and puffing stress berkerja.
And letih mlm cause of the work the day before.
I really deserve to give my shoulder a pat!
Yeay!~

But without keizinan Allah..nothing could happen easily.
So Alhamdulillah for this amazing milky journey you grant me.
Even my MIL was surprised that the milk still flows.(though xdelah like some my dearest colleagues yg skali pump dpt 2-3bottles).
She once said if it still flows up to 100days after birth,paling lama if baby x direct feed.
Yeah..glad to prove her wrong.
Well of course I'm not the first to exclusive pump..some EP mothers even pump up till 2yrs.
Which really does inspire me.

So..to women out there..yg rasa susu xbyk..baby cepat lapar.Keep on!
Jgn mudah putus asa..you can do it!
And those who mengeluh lenguh coz baby melekap all night long.
Bersyukurla.
Coz some mommies do'nt even get to experience those precious moments.
And need to work harder to keep the flow on.
And remember, perhaps the next baby wont be able to suckle even.

As for Iman, today he's staying with my lil sis Zakiyya. Kak Wan needs a day off today for check-up, which is another headache for me as my nicest ever baby sitter is pregnant la plak..ok, xmau menambahkan serabut dikepala.Problem to be settled in 6mths ahead when she's due..

3days weekend we spent at the family hse.With the new renovated additional rooms at Mama's..selesa dh rumah bg kami nk stay.And Zaynab's getting married- lagi2 la menambah sebab utk mama menambah bilik.Iman pn dh selesa nak mengengsot2 mcm ulat bulu merata2 at Grandma's.Hope Zakiyya could manage him well. I know she's gonna do fine..as nenek pn ada kat umah mama.Bleh bg tunjuk ajar :)

And yet Iman has started solids!Yeay..
Dah besar dh anak mommy! :)
First start - to play safe..Nestle Cerelac - Rice fortified with Iron.
Alhamdulillah..he's happy with that :)

Semalam went to Nilai3 for Zaynab's hantaran preps.So far found everything that we searched for and alhamdulillah within budget. Quite peculiar though as Zaynab opt for silver and black as her theme colour.Black for a wedding for me is not that suitable.Tapi xpela..its her wedding. Let her decide..I like it to be like that. I just bg nasihat for which flowers to pick, and which ribbons to use.Jgn beli bukan2..tak cukup beli lagi.

Nilai3 was extremely crouded.and extremely panas.
Mujur Iman tggal dgn grandma.Klu x sure merengek ajer.

The day before brought Iman together to Giant and tried him on few baby walkers.
He liked the idea of having to stand all by himself.
So despite of several taboos of baby walkers usage- I think I'll put walker for Iman in consideration.
Yeke naik walker boleh bantutkan perkembangan motor skills baby?
Org dulu2 letak je anak dlm walker..besar jd doctor, engineer berjaya jerr...

Iman's going to be 5!~

Hi darls~
Just to share yg in 3days more iman's going to be 5mo!!
Sgt cepat anak mommy membesar dgn jayanya!
And now dh pandai mcm2..even dh terer in food tasting.ai..mommy pn dh xsabar nk bg iman makan.
But I think I'll just wait for the thumb rule of 6mo to start. No need to rush pn. Nti mommy cr2 recipe2 for starters and kumpul byk2 bg Iman bleh choose his own preferences.
So far Iman looks kenyang je minum susu..alahai my sweet sweet son:)
So we'll stick on tasting shj la iman till 21st August nti :)

Last weekend pn we've already done some shopping for Iman's baju raya! Bukan apa, mls nk kua time Ramadhan nti, sure bersesak2..nak berbuka lg..silap2 solat Maghrib pn bleh terlepas!~
For those yg mencari bj melayu for babies yg comel and affordable..we've found some good bargains in Jusco IOI mall Puchong!Jusco mana2 pn ada kot..:)
Grabbed some 50-70% bargains also in Anakku IOI which was really awesome since rarely Anakku bleh dpt smp 50% off bargains! Got some cute corduroy and t-shirt suits for only RM35..original price was RM129. Baby Kiko ada smpai 50% off tp xsempat nak menjenguk sgt coz Iman dh merengek minta nk nap.Yelah dh 4hrs kna stroll dgn mommy tawaf mall mana xnyer :p
Xpela..since nk ke Sogo would be quite tidious dgn Iman maybe xselesa with all the ppl, IOI mall pn dh cukup byk choices for me :)

Ok la, back to Iman.Since he's goindg to reach 5mo, kita kna g inject tau Iman!Xpe..Iman kan tough! :)

Do you think that the ability utk menghasilkan susu utk anak dgn quantity yg byk adalah sesuatu yg patut dibanggakan atau digembar gemburkan?amek gambar produce arini and tempek ke dlm blog FB dan sbg nya?

And ada ibu yg lbh obses membuat stock yg byk-sejuk bekukan simpan utk masa depan drp memberi anak itu minum susu2 yg berjaya dikumpulnya itu?

And ada juga golongan manusia yg begitu obses dgn penyusuan bayi smp 'nursing in public'-pkai tudung tapi terselak nampak tepi2 dada sb anak ko gerak2 main tudung ko, memikirkan bhw itu adalah sesuatu yg menakjubkan?Konon menokong penyusuan susu ibu.

And ada juga ibu2 yg xfaham, yg ada babies yg mmg keliru puting and rejects to direct breastfeed, then tunjuk pandai, bg cdgn mcm2 mcmane nk bg baby nak ke breast tu semula without even having the experience of baby refusal on first place.

Well, for me -susu byk bkn bermakna anak anda akan lbh cerdik-as quality of the milk counts as well.Klu susu cair dpt skali pump 8oz, do you think that its better than susu pekat berkhasiat tp dpt 4oz je skali pump.
Aha..ntahla.I'm not sure my self. But what I know is that babies kenyang faster dgn susu yg pekat berlemak when if normally he drinks 5oz, with thick milk - 3oz is enough.

So, menyusu lah dgn berhemah.Prihatin dgn keadaan sekeliling if you relly need to nurse.now.
Jadilah ibu yg baik dgn sifat2 baik utk diwariskan ke generasi akan dtg. Avoid to hurt others.

Alhamdulillah Iman is getting enough milk.
And grown up healthily with 7kg at 3mths!Period.

Wordless Wednesday 1!~

Pantang Makan.Pantang Tengok. Pantang Dekat.

"bila nk abes pantang?bila bleh blk umah kita?"

alahai kesiannya enche hubby yg kna dok sorang2 kat umah.
tambah2 sayu hati bila tahu hari2 kna mkn nasi bungkus.basuh iron bj sendiri semua.dh mcm bujang blk.haruslah soalan tu keluar dr mulut dia :)

nak buat cmne.hari ni baru hari ke 26 Zulhadzrey. Tunggula at least 14hari lg (2weeks je pn..dh xlama :) )..mmg klu ikutkan hati nk je berpantang sendiri kat umah kami yg sekangkang kera besarnya itu.nak dok dekat dgn hubby terchenta..tp klu dok sengsorang mmg xberpantang la jwp nyerr..

Dok umah mak,kna la ikut sket2..ubi2 segala jenis xleh mkn.pedas2 xleh mkn.mee,mihun,maggi,spagetti dan yg sewaktu dgn nya xbleh.lemak2 dan berminyak bleh sb kan sakit uratpisang yg sedap sentiasa ada kat umah ni xleh mkn..udang segala seafood xleh mkn.ayam,daging,ikan bleh la..tu pn bkn semua jenis dan semua jenis masakan.mcm2.

Tu pn mak sendiri kira longgar.klu blk klate dok dgn MIL lagi byk pantang larang nye.hehe..
Nak bagi sehat cepat.luka cepat sia..Mujur juga xbalik klate,klu x nangis berlagu la cik hubby tu dok KL sengsorang. skrg at least,weekends-bleh jmp.mengubat rindu pd anak....dan juga emaknya :p
Xpela..next baby blk klate plak :) hehe..bila lah agaknya tuh? :p

Zulhadzrey Iman skrg juara minum susu. Every 2hrs mst bgn nk susu. 24-7..kdg2..xsampai pn 2jam.45mins pn ada..penat mommy dibuatnya.baru nk tido..dia dh jaga semula.nk buat cmner..terfikir juga-adakah susu aku cair buat dia xkenyang?sekali pump 100-120mL.cuba kira klu dh 12-14 kali pam sehari. yerr..iman minum susu dr botol.jd bleh sukat yer dia minum byk mana.huhu~
ataupun ni mmg fasa dia nk membesar..layankan ajela sementara still bercuti panjang nih..dh start keje blk nanti dh xdapek dh nk 24-7 dgn dia.alahai sian anakku yg sorang ni...

Bila tidor wajah baby mmg menenangkan kan?Kejap2 dia buat mimik muka..senyum la.kerut2 la..kdg2 smp terbuka2 mata.bermimpi agaknya.apalah agaknya mimpi si bdk debab 26hari ni..huhu~
Dah mommynya keje tenung dia waktu dia tido..mana nk dpt tido cukup.time dia jaga..mmg harus2lah xdapek nk tido.hehehe..dan buat waktu ni.keje nya asyikla tido.cepatla membesar anakku~

Panjang btul entry pagi2 sabtu ni plak..hehe.Kejap je dh sabtu semula.jap nti kejap je dh nk naik keje balik.apalah agaknya yg dh diorg godek2 dgn design aku kat opis tuh tah..ahai.buatla..jgn tonggang terbalik kereta tu nanti sudahla..

Last but not least..teringat pesan nenek hubby.kitorg bahasakan dia mek.sume org mmg pggil dia mek.
Pantang kita org ppuan pas bersalin mmg 40hari..yg 100hari tu pantang suami dgn kita.
Haha..100hari tu!Bagus juga..lambat sket kebarangkalian Iman dpt adik ;p
Agak-agaknya nape mek pesan kat aku..bkn pesan kat cucu dia..?hehe..renung2kan dan selamat beramal :)

Amalan berzikir and berdoa before baby delivery :)

Bila dh dekat2 tarikh..memang sumenya berdebar :) Tp debar yg baik...so kna kuatkan diri dari dlm...search2 internet jmp bbende ni..which i find very interesting  to share..source dh terhilang.ampun!~ Amalan berzikir dan banyak berdoa digalakkan bagi ibu-ibu yang hendak melahirkan kerana ini dapat mententeramkan fikiran dan dapat memupuk kesabaran ketika dalam kesakitan melahirkan anak nanti. Antara zikir dan doa yang disuruh mengamalkannya ialah:

“ Ya Tuhan kurniakanlah kepadaku dari sisi-Mu zuriat ( anak ) yang baik sempurna (tidak cacat ). Sesungguhnya Engkau sentiasa mendengar dan menerima rayuan dan doa hamba Mu”

“ Tiada Tuhan yang disembah melainkan Engkau ( Allah ), maha Suci Engkau Ya Allah, sesungguhnya aku termasuk di kalangan orang-orang yang zalim.

“ Tuhanku berilah kepadaku ( seorang anak) dari anak-anak yang soleh” Dan apabila saat hampir bersalin bacalah doa ini:

“ Allah telah mencukupi segala sesuatu bagiku dan sebaik-baik yang ku serah diri kepada Allah” Untuk memudahkan bersalin digalakkan pula membaca ayat kursi, Kemudian pula :

“ Bahawasanya Tuhanku, ialah Allah yang telah menjadikan langit dan bumi dan yang diantara keduanya di dalam enam hari kemudian Dia bersemayam atas Arasy. Dia memasukkan malam ke dalam sarang yang mencarinya dengan cepat. Matahari, bulan dan bintang semuanya ditundukkan dengan perintah-Nya. Ketahui olehmu, Allah yang mempunyai pencipta dan suruhan. Maha Mulia Allah Tuhan semesta alam. Seterusnya perbanyakkan membaca tasbih ini:

Yeay.Saje je nak update yg dh beli dh spectra 3 breast pump yg di idam2 kn (idamkan?)!~
Rasanya mmg dpt deal yg terbaik la..sb RM400 dpt mcm2 :)

Kitorg pergi kedai ni Sabtu haritu, di ptg hujan renyai2 and main terjah je sb xbrp tahu area Tmn Permata/Melawati etc ni ..

pusing punya pusing baru jumpe kedai, yg sign board nya amatla kecil..
Dh la level 3..and tersorok.mujur ada lift yg mmg memudahkan ibu2 yg sarat mcm sy :)

Klu kwn2 nk pergi, landmark nya mudah shj, Masuk exit Tmn Permata,KL. Right after Giant Tmn Permata ada Old Town White Coffee..kedainya mmg btul2 atas old town nih :)

Kedainya tersusun kemas, dgn byk juga brg2 yg bleh la dikatakan murah dr tempat2 lain.so well recommended la kedai ni. Tp ari sabtu aritu xsempat nk ronda abes sb hubby loghat nk blk tgk piala sumbangsih. Aish, ada bola la plak~~~

So grab set breast pump ni..and feeding bottle TommeeTippee yg comel je yg sempat..xpe.beli2 sume dpt voucher RM10 and bib free lagi. cute!!~ Saya suka!! :)

Then terus menuju ke rumah kami yg jauuuh juga dr kedai nih :)Klate vs Selangor beb~ Mmg game yg panas..mesti tonton! (Btw- klate menang 2-0 yeay!!~)

Mmg rasa happy sgt dh dpt apa yg dicari.tgk2 rmai pula yg mmg rekemen spectra3 ni..
So alhamdulillah..a good choice! Harap2 ia dpt berkhidmat dgn bermanfaat utk baby nanti, and bleh simpan utk the coming babies juga.hehehehe.. Insyallah~

Next Hunt : Breast Pump Packages!

In my 35th week now..going to 36. So after 36, everything must be ready as the baby could pop out any time by then..(maknanya sume kna dlm kereta, no more baby bargain hunting and no more vendor visits(unless u nk terberanak di kilang vendor!~..)and also..the list for pending jobs and issues dh kna ready!-sian boss, mesti pening dibuatnya!)..and it sumtime freaks me out juga.
yelah.first timers.

So the last thing on my list before baby's out is : Breast Pump!!~

Search punya search then I bumped into this website which gives me a quite clear comparison between breast pumps..so let me share it here :)

The Baby Checklist Saga : Last Hopefully~~

Things in the list mmg byk..and byk dh beli alhamdulillah.. :)
dh dkat nk term ni (lg 2wks!~ hoyeah!)..mmg wajar la byk bende dlm list yg dh dicancel kan?
Mostly beli pn blue color..xpe..klu baby girl pn, blue is definetely still a nice color :)

Jom kita tgk checklist kita..

1.Baby clothings-Baju lengan pnjg, seluar pnjg, baju lengan pendek, seluar pendek, barut, topi, mittens and booties,socks,rompers newborn(nanti beli lg.. ;) ).

2.Baby wajib gear - bedung, selimut, towel, lampin,pampers (CD nantila..), bath tub.

3.Baby bedding - bantal, tilam, kelambu, bantal golek.

4.Baby equipment (newborn xperlu pn) - stroller, bouncer, crib(ni still lg di fikirkan nk beli or x..), car seat.

The Quest for the Perfect Name (s) . . .

Sebenarnya dh lama mencari and terus mencari nama yg sesuai, menarik dan dlm maknanya utk permata hati yg maseh ada 6wks dlm perut ni :) Yelah, baby sulong, mmg la excited yg amat..bkn mak ayah nya shj..tp neneknya..moyang nya...pakcik makciknya..sumenya excited and mencadangkan mcm2 nama..thnx sume :) Tp biarla nama tu kami yg bagi..(eksyen je padahal still mencari nama yg perfect and menepati citarasa ibu yg mngandungnya dan ayah yg menanggungnya..hehehe) ..

Bukan mudah nk mencari..susaaaah.
so dlm spnjang 8mths of pregnancy ni..at last we found the best name for the baby (skrg still the baby~) Dh keluar nanti baru bleh announce nama :) For us, the name must be simple, meaningful and mudah disebut. It must also be significant, and mudah di ingati.
Macam mommy nya Zahra and daddy nya Zulhalimey :)

Byk nama2 yg sedap di dengar and bermakna baik yg sy suka mcm, irdhani, sophilea, wafiQ, rayyan, darwisy, salsabila, adreene, maryam, batrisya, irfan, amani, etc..so kita buat satu list and eliminate mana yg yg rasa dh byk sgt, nama baby2 org yg terdekat dgn kita dan yg kita least minat.

tambah pula kna tuggu jumpa face to face dgn tuan punya nama.sb nama mestilah kna padan dgn tuannya :)

Namanya?Hehehe... Tunggu lagi 6weeks insyallah :)

On the time being, jom kita baca apa yg saya jumpa...

Di dalam Islam, kita dianjurkan supaya memilih nama-nama yang baik untuk dinamakan kepada anak-anak kita. Ini kerana nama itu akan menjadi pengenalan dan panggilan kepada anak kita seterusnya melambangkan dan membezakan antara kita dengan orang lain lebih-lebih lagi antara Muslim dengan bukan Muslim. Rasulullah s.a.w. bersabda bermaksud:

"Sesungguhnya kamu akan diseru pada hari qiamat dengan nama-nama kamu, dan

nama-nama bapa kamu, maka perindahkanlah nama-nama kamu itu." (Riwayat Abu Daud)

Dalam menamakan anak ini syarak telah menetapkan beberapa panduan untuk memilih nama anak sebagai berikut:


a. Hendaklah nama yang dipilih itu memberi pengertian dan maksud yang baik. Sehubungan dengan itu kita dilarang untuk menamakan anak-anak kita dengan nama yang buruk yang boleh menjejaskan kehormatan dan mungkin menjadi sendaan dan memalukan anak tersebut.


b. Jangan namakan anak dengan nama-nama yang khusus kepada nama Allah seperti Ahad, Ar-Rahman, AL-Khalid dan sebagainya. Sekiranya nama ini hendak diberikan kepada anak kita maka hendaklah disertai dengan nama lain di hadapannya seperti Abdul Rahman, Abdul Khalid dan sebagainya.


c. Jangan menggunakan nama yang dikaitkan dengan Abdul (hamba kepada lain dari Allah seperti Abdul Uzza (hamba berhala Uzza), Abdul Nabi (hamba kepada nabi) dan sebagainya.Ulama bersepakat mengatakan bahawa menamakan sedemikian adalah haram.


d. Elakkan dari menamakan anak dengan nama-nama orang kafir atau nama-nama yang menyerupai nama bukan Islam seperti Jon, Sally, sebagainya.

Mmm..bagus and betul juga apa yg penulis ni tulis.In my opinion betullah tu..at least sy pn bleh menumpang menyebarkan apa yg ingin disampaikannya dgn menempelnya disini.. :)
