Small things we should be grateful everyday

Hi mommies out there!
How's ur Thursday so far?
Mine is a bit dull and i feel like just staying at my workstation doing things whatever i should instead of walking/meeting people elsewhere around the plant.

Maybe I'm just a lil worn out from all the frenzy from Iman's fever and all and yet did'nt get enough rest yet ..

Hmm..

Stumbled against this funny cartoon and immediately it strikes me on how grateful i should be..
My husband NEVER did this! It was always, i do the ironing, he bathes both boys. Then helps to dress them up.
And style their hair, and put on their socks and shoes.
While i do the things packing.. milk+food+spare clothes++++
Then we both dressed up together while the kids where on their bottles to be full before going out.
Then i'll get the kids in the car. And stay in the car while he locks and closes and checks all the important things before we go out.
That's the routine.

He's a true partner that does half the work of everything need to be done at home.
I mean EVERYTHING!
Alhamdulillah.


A small point i nvr really realized before tho.
And how ungrateful i am for that for overlooking (T_T)

Even for daily routine, every morning, he's the one in-charged for my pump, the bottles, the cold ebm, the washings and making new milk for Iman.

Carried my bags and pumps and all.
And handed me all in front of my office lobby..
Thank you yang..

Ahhhha..
Alhamdulillah (T_T)






He may not be the most romantic, the most handsome or the filthy rich guy i married.
But he is a true keeper that ignites the torch inside of me.
And always there to love me.
Through thick and thin.

Nobody else would complete me as you do.

"Adil" does not mean equal

Hmm.. how should we start here.Maybe this is not everybody's cup of tea.

Just a discussion last night with hubby on our way home on the concept of 'Adil. Yet, as i could recall from my secondary school lessons that Adil is actually putting/placing things on it's right place.
Being sama rata or giving equal chance to every body is actually not a perfect way to depict 'Adil. Yet it happens to trap his friend's Boss (let us name him Mr J) in giving Performance rating to his sub-ordinates.

Mr J ni baik sebenarnya, personally, and to me seems to want everybody have the equal chance to get a good rating despite how the performance of the person. i know this kind of attitude well, yalah..nak menang hati semua. To be the boss that is favoured. Ahhaaa.. but yet it trapped him in between when the management decided to change the upgrading policy.

Let me share you the story, before the system was re-assessed, a performer only requires 2 Commendable ratings in a row where the Third year he should only need to meet the requirements to enable him to get an promotion. So Mr J gave ratings based on this quota. How hard you have performed, responsible for several outgoing tasks (ISO rep for example) with perfect attendance and no MC - if your quota for 2 yrs in a row for Commendable ratings have been fulfilled, you will be given a 'Meet Requirement' rating. Yalah dh cukup quota, bglah pd yg belum cukup quota, even tho yg belum cukup quota tu is not a 'real' performer. This way barulah 'adil'. Semua dpt merasa. Hmm..please excuse my language, but this is really bull shit man! 

I don't know bout you, but if I'm the performer i OF COURSE la will be demotivated as i had worked hard, but only rated as an average and the non-real performer gets a higher rating on the base of ' bg semua merasa'. But this is not yet the worst.

After the system has been re-assessed to be more stringent  - A performer needs to have 3 Commendable ratings 3 years in a row for promotion pur[oses. Now, Mr J is trapped when one of his subordinates let us name him as Aqim needs another Commendable rating for upgrading, which he deserved, and was intended to be promoted by with the previous system, and did'nt get this yr because Mr J though that he had been Adil by being equal to everyone even though knowingly the other person's performance is not as good. If he really did judged with adil, he will never place/rate the deserved person a non-commendable ratings. And to get things correctly, no matter how the system changes, the deserved ones will get what they deserve. Betul tak? Point taken is it? Sekarang Aqim needs another 3yrs with commendable ratings to upgrade, by hook or by crook. See? Hai la Mr J, rezeki yg suap anak2 awk skrg dh sepatutnya jd rezeki anak2 Aqim.

Moral of the story, big rank, higher pays comes with a higher responsibility  Please do all judgement wisely and stay close to the basic concepts adapted from the Islamic values you have been exposed throughout time. Islam is not just a name, it is a lifestyle. If you stick to the principles, inshallah you will always be in the right way, and FYI Mr J is of course a muslim in this case :)

So good luck Mr J. Its quite bad you have to learn this the hard way.

Alhamdulillah.Bila kembali ke asal ni, byk lah kekhilafan diri bila direnung kembali. Personally, sy mmg senang dgn kisah2 ahli keluarga rasulullah. Cerita2 rasulullah dgn cucu-cucunya. Saya mmg lbh menggemari Fatimah dan keturunan nya berbanding Aishah yg slalu di agung2kan dlm sistem pendidikan negara kita.Tidak salah kan?Sb pertalian darah lbh kukuh.Hmm.Mungkin ada sebab mengapa Allah tak kurniakan zuriat keturunan nabi melalui Aishah. Wallahualam.

Ntahlah-saya bukan ahli utk membicarakan hal-hal sebegini.

Kadang kadang bila dikenang, di muhasabah diri : Diakui, diri ini mmg isteri yg byk silap dgn suami. Tambahan apabila dibaca betapa lembutnya Sayyidatina Fatimah melayan anak dan Suami.

Kesilapan utama : tak menghargai jasa2 suami.

Kadang2 suka membanding, dan mungkin tak terlihat kehebatan suami sendiri, kebaikan dia. Apa yg telah dibuat selama ini.Ketulusan dia. Kelembutan dia dlm kekasaran. Aduhai.

Mungkin itulah antara penyebab, sering dirasakan duit gaji yg sebegitu besarm masih tidak cukup saban bulan. Apa yg ada dirumah asyik tidak dirasakan cukup.

Astaghfirullahalazeem.

Siapalah sbnrnya diri kita. Syurga kita sbnrnya skrg dibwh tapak kaki dia.

Masih lg hari2 kita bersungut bila dia minta secawan kopi seusai pulang dr tempat kerja? :P

Atau hny hidangkan ayam goreng sambal budu utk hidangan makan mlm dia.

Last night, we accidently attended a meeting held at my aunty's house.Us-our small family, mom, dad, and adik kinah my sister.Meeting Anak-anak rantau negeri melaka or something.tujuan asalnya nak visit my grandma and my aunty at my aunty's house in selayang but, the meeting was held in her house.

Ah, yes. My father is from Melaka :)

In that meeting was this old man who loves to sell his pantuns, esp to my mom.
Knowing that I'm her daughter. He sold one to me spontaneously.
Lebih kurang mcm ni..dah ingat2 lupa.

Kembang merendang pohon belikat,

Amuk sang tenuk melanggar betik,

Dari jauh hatiku terpikat,

Sungguhpun gemuk ku pandang cantik.

Eventually,i think he thought Iman was my mom's (yeah..my mother looks kinda young!)
And Amsyar was sound asleep in the next room.
The funniest thing is that he thought that me and hubby were siblings (ok not that funny tho to hbby ;p)

Hehehe..kekurangan idea utk update di ptg jumaat yang tak berapa panas ni.dh dua tiga hari cuaca sejuk je..hatta tidur malam pun terpaksa berselimut walau tido berempat dikatil queen size yang mana mommy juga bersize queen ;p Nothing much happening around except for the coming Dept Raya celebration prep and also the RND womens potluck raya party coming :) Amsyar's also still recovering and still voice-less.poor baby~ But he's recovering strong :)



Just happy when hubby gets this email from his boss from another boss from the other dept :)

This was in Harian Metro yesterday..

En Roslan was a good friend of my husband's.
An exec in our styling design department..and this accident was only 2km from our plant in Shah Alam on his way to grab lunch with few colleagues. My husband was on annual leave on the day of the accident, else he most probably would be in the car with allahyarham as well. Oh my..hampir gugur jantung saya even to know this.

Allahyarham selamat dikebumikan di kampung halaman nya di Behrang, Perak. The tahlil held yesterday was also attended by hubby and several friends bringing together the collections of donation money from RnD and his personal belongings.

Sesungguhnya ajal maut itu di tangan tuhan. Life's short.
Today your joking with your beloved ones. Tomorrow you never know.

Surat Cinta 2004

We just moved so a lot of sortings and re-organizing were happening in the house.
Even Iman is confused with the whole piles of things around :)


Going through our degree and certificates files last weekend, we came through my husband's younger brother fahmey's cert files. The file was in the house as he was keeping it with us, as his house is now only a rented bujang house, so it's safer in our residence.

Flicking across Fahmey's file, hubby found an old letter addressed to Fahmey. A love letter!!~
Menarik2!!!~ Jahat sungguh kakak and abg fahmey ni..surat cinta dia pun nak bc,kan?
Tipu lah if you don't. Dont'cha?


Written in pencil, dated circa 2004, it was a classic.

We were laughing at the sentences, as it was from a year 6 girl whom apparently Fahmey was fancying, but was not interested with him. Her sentences of rejection were at the politest tone which made us quite impressed of what a 12yr old could write off.

 Jiwang karat xyah citer la..hehehe.

To make it more clear to Fahmey, we came to a sentence that made us both stopped.
Translated, it would sound some sort like this,

"It is not that i don't like you, but as i have told you before i have feelings for your elder brother. If it is not because he is now 18, and I'm only 12, i would have long approached him to let him know my feelings. It is quite heartbreaking to know that he has already someone else who appears to special to him"


Wallaweih..minat abg rupenya..mcm cerita melayu samarinda belit2, 55 episod plak.
As Fahmey has several brothers, we did'nt notice anything at that moment til it came through my mind.

" Abg, Fahmey umur brapa ek?"
"20, nape?"
" kalau Fahmey 20, abg 26...then, 'abg' yg budak tulis surat ni dulu bermaksudkan abg ler. sb beza abg and fahmey ialah 6thn. masa tu kan fahmey 12 thn, sebaya dgn minah ni and 'abg umur 18 masa tuh' yang minah tu minat adalah abg"

Terus blushing, merah padam.
Haha..ada peminat cilik rupenya. Fahmey's friends was eyeing for him once upon a time ago..baru discover 8years later.

I was mocking him for this.
Fahmey's crush, had a crush on him and rejected Fahmey for that reason.

He blushed.
Cinta budak sekolah..hehehehe.






Then he blurted out "Smart juga rupenya abg zaman sekolah ek?xsangka pulak..,"

Dah lama nk buat entry ni..tp xberkesempatan.. so, no WW today-kita cerita pasal twilight sequel-breaking dawn!~

This actually happened last week.Cerita basi, tp nk cerita juga!~
Cerita nya berkesempatan berdating berdua last wednesday was cause I cancelled my trip to thailand and took the day off..daddy pun rs nk take the day off, Iman was with kak wan, so kami pn berdating la setelah 9.5mths xberpeluang berdating berdua..ke Sunway Pyramid.Yeay!~

Bila dh keluar berdua, mmg rs bebas la..no stroller, no diapers, no bottles..Tp everytime terserempak dgn babies,terus la rindu kat budak Iman..huhu~
Macam tu la pulak kan?hehehe~

Securing our tickets for the movie,we did some window shopping, tried some clothes, but bought none..hehe..mcm zaman belum kawin dulu plak rs.Saja2 jalan2..tgk barang mcm xde kerje.Sgt best!~

Then we tried some cone pizza..pernah try dah?? Which turned out to be marvellous!~
Sedapp!!First time nk rasa- kitorg kan jrg jalan2 jimba2 ni. Klu keluar balik2 g mydin mall beli grocery..hehehe.. org lain mesti dh puas mkn dh :)

For RM6.90 we got ourselves pepperoni and also chicken mushroom each.Tp i liked the pepperoni more. Uniquely, cone nya ialah whole wheat breadlike which is filled by layers of cheese,gravy, pepperoni and cheese again berselang2..then baked.Bila mkn panas2, haruslah cheesenya still mengalir2..nyum2!~
Xsempat mkn semua sebab panas,and movie dh nk start-seludup masuk TGV, mmg heaven la mkn gelap2 sejuk2..hehehehe~ Rasa mcm muda remaja bila skali skala buat kerja2 gila mcm ni..

Ok back with the movie review. For breaking dawn part 1 saya bg 4bintang!Yeah!~
Mujur juga hubby layan skali sb pd mula nya dia insist nk tgk cerita "Aku bukan tomboy"..huh?? (--")

Breaking dawn part 1 ni jalan ceritanya mudah, and smooth..Scenes involved Bella Swan and Edward Cullen got married (finally!). The wedding preps, the gown, the aisle, the party after, the toasts  :)
The wedding was  a bit weird, with Bella's parents terkejut dgn collection of graduation hats on the wall yg Edward ada (dh hidup beratus thn haruslah masuk byk university!~)

Then after the wedding, they went for a honeymoon, and everything went nicely (mm..except for the part that the bed was ramp-sacked the day after and they needed a new bed (huh?). But too many kissing scenes yg even made us blush..tgk keliling- two third of the audience were school kids...mak aihh..

And after awhile Bella got pregnant!

Cerita pregnancy was short sb the duration was quite short either.Edward was trying to convince Bella to abort the baby, cause they presume that it brings darkness and evil. Yelah anak immortal and human..mcm mustahil gitu. Bella was getting weaker by day until they figured out that she needs blood.Well, the baby needs blood.

By last Bella died on childbirth, and had a beautiful baby girl named Reneesme.The wolves pack whom were planning to destroy the new soul, could not do so as Jacob has already imprint Reneesme, grown up and beautiful.

The last scene was dead Bella resurrected, full bodied and red-eyed! Huhu..dh jadi immortal kah?
So, cant wait for part II!~

To tell the truth, I'm not a reader of twilight.
But I watch the movie sequel..and i think of it as interesting and entertaining :)
So really 4stars and thumb up for Breaking Dawn!~ :)


Balik2, terus peluk cium anak rindu..
But once in a time, you and your partner deserve your quality time alone.Make it short but memorable.
Bukan utk melupakan tanggungjawab- but to refreshen your relationship, revive yourself to come back home to be a better mother to your little ones.

Was in Kelate for 6days 5nites.
Just still amazed with kelantanese style for tahlil.
No Yassin recitation. Only zikir (meratib).
Masak for 70-80 ppl coming every nite, heavy dinner for 7nites in a row (menu : nasi kerabu, nasi berlauk, ayam gulai..etc). Cost fikir fikir sendiri lah kan?hmm..

For us in the south here, the family of the dead is already in grievance.
why burden with such chores..cooking and cleaning and such.

hmm..ikut ajelah.
masuk kandang lembu menguak,masuk kandang kambing mengembek.

Pastu hulur tgn debab dia pegang tgn mommy.
