Our visit to Bukit Melawati 2020

Assalam guys!

Our first time here for an adhoc March cuti sekolah short road trip. Kita jelajah apa ada. Nothing much to shout out up here but kerajaan negeri could surely make a lot of improvements here.

Tram ticket was RM3 for adults and RM2 for kids for a 5mis ride uphill to an open area with cannons, muzium and a lighthouse. And of course amazing view of Selat Melaka, I think. A nice experience overall. just sharing some pictures and videos for those planning to pay a visit here during these #takbolehrentasnegeri days.

Tons of monkeys (Lotong and beruk) waiting for us uphill. ada dijual food for the monkeys just for fun. They are behaved monkeys but yes wild life are wild so just be extra carefull all the time

Just my 2cent for improvement - To have more muzium contents up hill and a small exclusive cafe selling off ice blended coffee and pastry would be nice. Monkeys are too many maybe there are some other ways to make the number just bearable enough for a nice visit (for example adakan taman ular or tiger zoo). A petting zoo also could be nice and add small hawkers selling bubbles and such.

BBQ time at Sungai Tekala 2020

 

Salam all..rajin plak update skrg kann? Saja jalah kalau tak tulis nanti lupa..hehe. semua kenangan penangan pandemik ni mcm mcm yaa..tak semua manis, dan byk yang menguji kesabaran kita semua. ikutkan stress semua stress, kerja dari rumah mcm mcm tergendala, syukur masih lagi ada kerja.

Ni kami nak cerita kisah kami p mandi sungai. Tak boleh rentas negeri lagi tapi dh boleh rentas daerah pun syukur yg amat dah!

Exploring Selangor these days came to a not too bad results. We opted to go for BBQ-ing nearby and selected Sg Tekala. Actually it was our first time as a family to bbq outdoors and mandi sungai. Selama ni asyik tertangguh ja maybe sebab mikhail pun masih kecil jd susah sikit. Tekala ni pun oklah utk yg ada anak anak kecil.byk pondok disediakan dan persekitaran ada yg jaga (sapu, buang sampah etc). Kami gerak awal pagi dan sampai dlm pukul 9am masih tak ramai dan dpt cup tmpat syok sikit alhmdulillah 

Masa nak pergi ni ajak my SIL's family sekali and mak. Tapi mak biasalah byk agenda weekends. So bakar membakarlah kita. Bwk ayam perap and bihun goreng ja..tp laku habis sold out 3ekor ayam hehehe. Penangan air sejuk sangat.

Kami setup khemah umur 10thn kami ni..nak kena upgrade dh ni..saja nak landing and tukar baju. tp takdan landing mana semua kaki air. and kami blk awal juga lah dlm 3pm sebab dh nak hujan.takut kepala air.

Wakaf kami. Untung dpt wakaf ni. Besar. Ada family lain boleh tumpang seblah sikit makan n letak brg.

Alhmdulillah. Next time boleh picnic/bbq sungai lg..maybe kita cari area sg tua or kalumpang plak kalau masih tak boleh rentas negeri..hehe

Penang2018!!!

This time around we chosed to discover things in Penang. Just a short 3days 2 nights adventure as i hardly ever visited Penang despite of its reputation as a famous foodie location and nice tourist attraction that is pocket friendly. So then we picked 30th November till 2nd December for our short getaway.

Frankly speaking, i think we need 4 to 5 days to discover all, maybe next time as this time around we stayed in Georgetown and covered most of the Northern part of the Island only. I've booked to stay in Northam All Suites Penang, for its location and room price, and it turned out to be really nice. We had a room with a view and a jacuzzi, which everybody loves. Next time maybe we'll stay by the beach.

Well, just to share the pictures there as our family momento and maybe if you would like to have some ideas of what to do in Penang when u visit next time, lets see what we've being up to in Penang! A nice stay to forget a lil of all the hustling and bustling in the city (read office) and a good way to end 2018! all maybe are not in order of our activities but i'll summarize all in the end, inshallah.

We had few stops all the way to Penang. One for breakfast and another was for bathroom and smoking (daddy's stop). It was just a fun drive trip, so we were not really chasing time to arrive.

4. Makan makan spot 2 : Mi Udang Sg Dua

Sg Dua is actually on the peninsular side of Penang. The mee udang was marvellous! Fresh freshwater prawns cooked with a little bit sweet and tangy gravy.sedappp!

4. Our First Ferry ride crossing to Penang :)
Yups. Rm7 per car for a 15mins trip from Butterworth Jetty to Georgetown! The queue was quite long but the ride was interesting.

5. Makan makan spot 3 : Padang Kota Lama!

This one is a must eat spot. Apalagi kalau bukan pasemboq Hussein! the laksa there pun marvellous.

Crowded! so this maybe the first and the last trip to Bukit bendera aka Penang Hill.
