Jejak Langkawi 2015 : Day 4 - Bird's Paradise and Wildlife Park

Happy Monday all of u!

It's the beginning of June already. Nifsu Syaaban as well. Let's just get the Langkawi stories finished :) Day 4 was a long and tiring day for all four of us. We checked out as early as 9am and headed directly north to Bird's Paradise and Wildlife Park  which was only 20mins away from our hotel :) This was actually not in plan but as we had some time more to spend, why not? :)






After breakfast near idaman suri, we arrived in BPWLP around 11-ish. The park was already opened and we missed few feeding sessions already..alaa.. Takpelah kan. The tickets was RM18 for adults and RM12 for kids 3-12yrs old :) So as Amsyar is not yet 2, we got one entrance fee waived. Yeay! At the entrance, there were animal food packs sold for RM6 per package so we bought one too. Total for entrance fee : RM48+ RM6 = RM54. Details for entrance fee could be obtained here.

The park itself is quite large And was divided into several segments housing a quite huge number of animals. The best thing here is that you get the chance to directly interact with the animals, as in holding, cuddling, petting and also feeding. There were thousands i must say birds calling this place home :) Worth the pay the boys were really excited here and enjoyed the moment although a little bit afraid at the beginning as the animals here were so tame. Most of the parts of the park is semi indoors (with roof) it was quite convenient to visit at any time rain or shine. Operating hours is from 8.30am to 7pm :) and you'll need in about 2hours to finish the visit and if you are so immersed in the animal world it may take you 3hrs to finish

We have soo many pictures, but this will do for the time being. There where little chicks and little ducklings wading freely around. Donkey for ride and free range rabbits. There were also a lot of kancils running freely around as well. The deers were kept in cages so goes to the crocodiles and snakes thank god! There were also baby raccoons to bottle feed and plenty porcupines asking for carrots and cabbages. It was fun! For more info, you could get it here at their official website . We are already almost leaving Langkawi guys : Next stop -  Kilang Warisan Gamat, Beras Terbakar, Kompleks HiG and Idaman Suri. Oh byk lagi :)

Jejak Langkawi 2015 : Day 3 - Langkawi Island Hopping Package :)

Hi uols! 3rd morning in Langkawi dah! It was a  Friday, so we planned to just laze around the hotel that morning, after the morning beach walk and breakfast we had the pool all for ourself for a morning dip. We checked out at 12 and headed to Chenang for lunch and Jumaat prayers before our Island hopping date at 2.30pm. Mahal food at chenang compared to Kuah sbnrnya.simple lunch costs us rm21 for 2.

Ultramen must follow ok.no matter what.

At 2.30pm, our boat was already waiting with other people counting a total of 12heads including Iman n amsyar. We paid RM35x2 for adults and RM25 for iman and added rm6 for conservation tix. Total in rm101 jugalah. We were given life jackets and identity stickers to just match our group to the boat provider as there were a lot of groups with several different providers. Iman n amsyar pun dpt small lifejackets each which looked cute for them :)

The boat took 30mins to our first destination : Pulau Tasik Dayang Bunting. Memang excited juga naik boat ni..the boys really did enjoyed it. The weather pun cantik matahari terang, so we were quite lucky :) The boat driver (driver ke..hahah) gave us 1hour on to explore the island. so sharp 4pm, we should be back on the boat to go to the next destination :)

To reach the lake, we need to do some hiking up and down, back and fro to the boat jetty. 15mins jugalah nk naik saja. But we made it with the kids! He he he..kuat budak budak ni! 30mins near the lake, I was not confident to allow the boys to dip in, so we just had a small picnic , took pictures, and had our feets in the water. Bring a lot of water ya for the island hopping, and some food as well esp if you're w small children.

4pm we started our journey to the next destination : Eagle Feeding. 15mins into the open seawater, we stopped on a deserted island nesting so many eagles.Mmg byk! No wonder, the island is called Langkawi.

Ada mcm deserted jetty. Behind tu, mmg houses thousands of eagles.

The boat driver yang baling chicken into the water, and magically the birds came in flying one by one swooping the chicken out of the water. Chicken meat la..bukan ayam hidup.haha. We lingered around the area bird watching and took pictures for around 10mins, before heading off to our last island : Pulau Beras Basah.









4.35pm kami sampai kat jeti Pulau Beras Basah and was allowed to explore the island for 1hour. Mmg budak budak ni changed into their swimming trunks and mandi laut la..main pasir n mandi manda.












The island is so nice, deserted, and with beautiful white sand. Kat sini jugalah terserempak w an old friend of mine Wan Husniati on her honeymoon. Sebesar besar langkawi, kt secluded island tu boleh terjumpa.he he he



5.35pm we headed back. With the boat..letih dah. The view of the sea with the islands nearby was breathtaking mashallah. Tp mmg best island hopping ni.berbaloi la juga 3jam setengah mcm sekejap je..6pm sampai blk jeti pantai tengah. Penat dh semua.
Mlm tu kami check in motel murah je in kuah, Dawira Motel for RM 55/nite. Murah kan? But mmg sempit sgt. Sb mmg nk tido je oklah. Last night dh.esok nk blk dh. Dinner pun in the room je, sebab semua pengsan keletihan mandi pool pg n island hopping all evening :) Nyenyak smpai ke pagi :)

Nanti kita smbung ya.. Day 4. Mmg plan nk shopping je sebenarnya, tp mcm best je Wildlife Park kuah ni. Jom jenguk kejap...

Jejak Langkawi 2015 : Day 2 - Cable Car, Oriental Village and Laksa Ikan Sekoq

Hello langkawi day 2! :)

Plan for today! Cable car!
The boys awal lg dh bgn for suboh, then for cmplimentary breakfast. Bella Vista buffet mmg limited but oklah. ada waffles station, ada egg station. Just nice.

10am dh on the road to Gunung Mat Chincang. From Kuah to Gunung Matchincang took us around 40mins sb daddy mmg cruising at 60kph je. Aman je langkawi ni,, xde jem langsung. Semua pun mcm xde urge nak laju2.



Upon arrival, Skycab and oriental Village ni mmg dh penuh org. Walaupun hari khamis and bukan cuti sekolah. Pelik juga. Beratur lama for tickets and pakej dia mmg tix including Skydome entertainment. Ok layan masuk sphere dome tgk movie dulu br naik cable car. beratur 30mins baru dpt masuk skydome :)

Tickets were RM20/pax for adults and rm15/pax for children 2-12yrs old. So total tickets RM70 utk kami :)

The boys memang amazed and seronok dpt naik sangat tinggi. Alhmdulillah, skycabs ni fully tutup so xdelah rs insecured all the way up with boys. Diorg pun mcm happy and takdelah takut wpn cabs bergoyang goyang swaying on the way up.

THE VIEW MASHALLAH..

The cable car station is actually divided into 3 platforms: the first station, puncak and the suspended bridge. But to get to the suspended bridge you have to pay an extra rm5/person and walk on a 200m jungle trek to reach the bridge. Looking at the boys active condition, we decided not to take the risk. And just play safe at the top station, chilling off with some hot drinks, before heading back down. The view was mashallah, cantik ;) Breathtakingly georgeous. Each station up your pics will be taken and made into nice souvenirs, do bargain for the price. Ours, we got for rm15 from rm45.haha J Well, that’s quite a bargain kan? ;)

Jalan2 around the oriental village, you could opt to enter the 3D museum and 6D movie as well, tp we had enough for today. The boys were already tired and it was already late for lunch as it was already 3pm. Headed off to padang matsirat for a laksa lunch for the day J

Balik dr Gunung Matchincang, lalu balik area airport kita singgah p pekena laksa and pasemboq sini. mmg rekemended. Byk gerai bwh pokok yg betul betul mengadap laut sini, so wpn panas, mmg mkn laksa sedap with a view. laksa kami cuma rm5 sepinggan, pasemboq rm5. Murah dh tu. laksa kuah pekat. kat gerai laksa ikan sekoq ni lah. hat lein kami taktau sebab byk gerai. ada laksa mahsuri, laksa power. sendiri pilih ya.. :)





Lepas makan tu asalnya nk ke Pantai Chenang, mandi manda tp mashallah panasnya xsanggup den. Kita p singgah jap je sesambil book island hopping nya packages yg byk ditawarkan along Chenang ni. Byk package esp for sewa beramai ramai charter satu boat lg murah. Bayaran dikenakan utk kanak kanak 3yrs above so amsyar xkena bayar :) Boleh juga book utk jetski private island hopping or Kilim Geoforest Trip. tp kami xminat masuk2 gua ni. kita p tgk islands ajelah :)

Book package utk esoknya sb kami dh kepenatan dptlah Rm35/pax utk adult and rm25 utk iman. Pricey juga kan, tp alhmdulillah berbaloi.kami g ni bukan peakseason, kalau cuti sekolah, mmg boleh capai 50-60/pax ;)

Book sahaja, bayarnya esok ;)

Dah alang2 kesana, kami ke Pantai Tengah, tempat berlabuh kapal2 layar and Hotel Awana Porto Malai yg skrg dh tukar nama ke Worlds Resort. Cantik sini. View sgt cantik :) Maybe next time kita stay hotel ni pula. Inshallah.

Balik tu mmg terbongkang semua. Penat. Mlm tu sebab semua dh letih, kami mkn dataran lang lg buat second time, well for us, mkn is no 2. Jadi apa yg ada ok je. Bukan nk bermewah mewah mkn mahal2 ;) Jalan sikit ke up town Kuah and blk tidor. with kids tagging along mcm nilah. kesian kalau dikerah abes abes. Nanti dh besar sikit bolehlah bwk roadtrips ke apa kan.

Ok habis day 2. esok byk plan ni. Tidor dulu :)
