Pinky hopes on her way!

Assalamualaikum mommies!

I guess its time to share here :) Yups. We're pregnant with no 3!  Alhmdulillah with all the patience to finally wait when the time is right for a new family addition. Well i've been posting very much a lot in my ig : zahra_memey bout this news but let me put it in words here ;)

So lets begin with a lil intro to lil no 3 ;) We're now in the second trimester already alhmdulillah. To be exact this week is already week 18 which means we're almost halfway at 4 and a half :) Alhmdulillah, rezeki came as planned, 2016, after raya, both rayas inshallah.  My first check up 3 weeks ago didnt yet show any sign of whether baby 3 is a boy or a girl yet so mommy is still excited with the guessing game :) We all hoped for a girl this time of course. Inshallah. But Allah surely knows whats best kan? The check up revealed everything was fine. On track. Singleton, heartbeat rate ok, mommy's vitals - blood pressure, blood count, urine et all- checks out ok..well except for the weight..sobs. The doctor prescribed me with obimin. And she mentioned habbatus sawda was ok for me. So yay!.

The first trimester was a roller coaster. A bad roller coaster, and it was really better when actually no one knows esp the office team :) Some went wild guessing when i took a 5 min rest in the surau after a marathon of puking out the day's lunch, but nobody really knew except for few close family and friends :) I tried really hard this time to be stronger, and kept my head busy with designs and sketches and guess what? It worked wonders. I bet the third time around really made me aware of the do's and don'ts for first trimester esp on food to avoid (like aubergine,mushrooms) and what smell to keep distance from. Some fruits smells turned me off even this time. And i could not cook. AT ALL. Which was quite a disaster as at a certain point we ran out ideas of what to take away (well, i skipped dinner most of the time pun sebab mmg tak lalu).

The thing is that with baby no 3, it was always afternoon sickness, the headaches, the vomiting, the dizziness ... straight until we went to bed. Mornings were great tho, alhamdulillah. So i keep my mornings busy and packed, all the meetings, discussions, tough design work which required 100% concentration and creativity. We had no draftsman or consultant this time around so most of us are one-man show people. I was keeping the momentum going maybe which made people around me hardly notice..haha. Lalu tak lalu, i filled up my tummy with breakfast and snacks every two hours to keep the energy going. Memang tak lalu tapi kna telan. Muntah tak muntah blkg kira. Water intake mmg 1.5L by noon. Kalau muntah lagi kna top up. By zuhur, everybody was already tired kan, pregnant or not. So i blended in quite unnoticeable.kikiki. By the time, we reached home, i was already flat. Flat which means no energy at all, i only want to sleep thingy, you get what i mean? The boys were lucky daddy didn't have to go for night shift this time. I slept after maghrib till 10 or 11, and then woke up starving. Grab a quick bite, do some chores (mostly laundry jalah), read my fav book for 30mins, then i was off again till 6.30am. I was really exhausted that time. Sobs. 

And..this went on for weeks.

Until week 15 ;) Then the nausea subsidued. Alhmdulillah. As expected and as i prayed for alhmdulillah. By last week only i tried to cook, tried seafood and it was ok. The nausea had left..yay! One of the kitchen knob was even stuck due to 3 mths underutilized.. not being utilized to be exact ;p Sorry dapur, we need to replace you soon.   

Well, so here we are. Week 18. Some ticker counts week 17 some week 19. Well just let say the baby's due by end on Sept :) The mild kicks can already be felt, so mild but promising inshallah. I really do hope the baby is healthy, happy and cukup sifat semuanya. The mommy also healthy as well. During carrying Amsyar, i had no complications alhmdulillah. Hb cantik, bp cantik alhmdulillah. Breastfeeding journey was for 2years alhmdulillah. Rezeki Zulhafidzey Amsyar belaka. Kali ni mudah mudahan murah rezeki utk baby no 3 juga! Amin!

Enough for now, dah panjang sgt ni. Pray for a girl for me this time tau kawan kawan. Manatau ada yang makbul doanya dikalangan kita. Pray for a smooth journey and delivery as well, amin :)

Have realistic expectations

Recognize that your child will be happiest playing in a child-friendly environment where she can run around and touch things, not shopping in a hardware store or going to an art museum. Understand that she won't be able to sit or stand quietly for long periods, so that asking her to wait in line or sit in an office waiting room may be asking too much. Remember that she won't have much patience for sitting quietly during activities that don't interest her, so sitting at the dinner table or even in preschool circle time may be impossible for more than a few minutes. Finally, know that she may not be able to resist temptation, so keep markers and scissors in a drawer she can't open.

Make sure she gets enough sleep

Any child who is tired will be irritable and "wired" during the day and will be harder to deal with than a well-rested child. If your child is grouchy or sleepy in the morning, she needs more sleep at night.

Keep your rules simple and concrete

For example, tell your child, "When we're in the parking lot I want you to hold my hand" or "You can't throw balls in the house." Always, always, always be consistent about enforcing the rules. If you're not, your child won't be able to figure out how you expect her to behave.

Get some advice from an expert

If you're already doing these things and your child is still acting out a lot more than other children, you may need a fresh approach. Seek out a counselor who can spend time with you and your child and give you some advice on how to manage her behavior. Talk to your child's preschool teachers, your local childcare resource and referral agency, or your child's healthcare provider.

Iman and his antics..

Iman is hitting 36mths next February. So its about time that his speech skills develops rapidly this time around. It is surely funny with what he usually utters out. Sometimes unpredictable and really genuinely frank. Haha.

Mommy just need to polish him a bit about being polite and thoughtful soon!

As usual i could not predict what new vocab he had just recently picked-up and i tried my best to teach him each new thing he asked in English. Yes, that's quite hard as both of us are hard-cored malay speakers. But it's really worth it so far with things around the house and in everyday environment.

He understands simple english like wash your hands, wash your face, wipe your mouth, throw the rubbish in the bin, keep your toys away, take your green stool, kick the ball, take one tissue for mommy,  and have a quite extended array of english nouns as well. Just simple things like train, horse, cat, dog, chicken, fork, spoon, ball (ha this one of course!), aeroplane, tunnel, car, bicycle, bug, butterfly and the list goes on. We will work with verbs after this. Inshallah!

There are some conversations that i found really funny on how he uses his words. Here are some.

M (mommy) : Iman, nape adik nangis? Iman pukul ke?
I (Iman) : Tak tahu. Bukan iman!
M : Iman usik ke?
I : Bukan!

I found him throwing the cake from his hands.
M : Iman jgn baling kek kalau taknak mkn
I : Tak baling. Kek jatuh.

I : Wow! Cantiknya! Wow!!
I was putting on make-up that time.
Thank you hunny bunny!

I : Amsyar, jgn ambil ni. Ni Abang punya!
We never taught him to call himself abang. Hehehe

I : Daddy, nak air oren (this was daddy's carbonated drink). Amsyar tak payah. Ni ubat!
Hahahahah.. amboi pandai ckp kat adik ni ubat..padahal dia nak.



Alaa.. tak ingat plak yang lain lain.
But Iman is really growing up mcm abg abg sket.
The brotherly manner is there, budding. Alhamdulillah.

Mommy hopes you grow up, independent, smart, and soleh Iman.

I bought them both these two sets recently.

I think it's no problem for a lil boy to play with kitchen sets, As long as the sets are not really girlish, pink and all. It's not a bad thing, you know..as boys do cook.

Amsyar Turns 7! Yeay!!

Hi mommies..!!

Just to share -Yesterday the 23rd notes Amsyar's 7mo bithday.Hiphip hurrah for adik amsyar!
Growing healthily and more cheeky than ever :: he is now weighing at a hefty 8.5kg. Alhamdulillah :)
Amsyar could now eat a variety of purees and yet still could manage 5x4oz at the babysitter's in no sweat..gogo adik! :) Dah pandai mengengsot ke depan dgn laju menjai mop lantai dumoh mommy..and dh pandai rebut brg.tp still calm and sit diam2 bila diletak dlm car seat/baby carrier time mommy mkn kat kedai,and time mommy bwk keluar teman sidai kain on weekends!!

Dated last Sunday (the 23rd), Amsyar had turned 4 months old.
Sorry baby..mommy dh delayed by 1week for your updates!!

So far, amsyar had achieved his roll-over milestone, coo-ing and also laughing at mommy's funny faces.heheheh. He could recognize mommy via visual and also voice. Turns head when mommy talks and if possible wants to be held upright all the time! Jerit2 panggil org nak soh angkat riba dia..

As of now he is going for grabbing things and bringing his toys to his mouth to taste..aiyak.ni yang mommy nk kna sterilize sumer toys dh ni..jap lagi dh masuk phase mengelap lantai-terpaksa la mommy mop hari2 :'(
Nak mop seminggu sekali pun lebamm skrg ;p

Berat amsyar?mommy tak tau sb this month takde immunization+check-up.so mommy taktau.hehehehe~
But you are really doing fine based on kelenguhan tgn mommy mengusung amsyar.And based on the 6x4oz bekalan yang habes everyday-It's best to be thinking positive as well,kan? :) Bila melekap on weekends and at nights dh uncountable so, we stick on what we could see (and count).

Amsyar juga dh recognize Iman's voice.Bila dgr je..or nampak iman-mula buat muka takut and berjaga2..hehehehe.Takut kna lepuk dgn abg la tuh. Nampak amsyar pun dh keep on eye-ing Iman's red tricycle.maybe just because its red, and moving and nice looking.kot. :)

Daddy kata bulat bulat mcm mommy. Ok daddy need to clarify what u actually mean?haa.

Mata boolat.No chin.Hmm.

Baru abes mandi.Mommy sapu bedak supaya wangi2 ;)

Can't wait for Amsyar readiness for solid food.Strictly starting at 6mths inshallah.
And mommy will try this time to make purees and smoothis for you lil guy..semangat nak bwk keluar blender Philips hadiah kawen 2yrs ago to start all the blend recipes.
Iman also could share the same recipe.Just maybe not the blended version tho :)

IMAN :: 14mths and 3days :)

Jom cerita Iman today :: as he is already 14mths last Saturday :)

This is Iman's latest obsession : MOTORCYCLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ni pinjam motor ayah ngah dia yg dtg stay kat rumah during the weekends :)
Iman and ayahngah fahmey dia mmg sebijik muka tp xde la plak pics amek sesama.
Punyalah suka motorcycles sampai bleh gosok2,belek2,cium! OMG cium..!!~
Kalau dh naik tu jgn harap lah nak turun..unless dpt ronda 10-15mins..

Iman oh Iman..tp jgn haraplah mommy nk allow Iman ride motorbikes dh besar nanti..nak lenjan kereta mommy pun xpe..asalkan xnaik motor.xsanggup mommy!! Ngeri..

So far Iman tgh training speech skills dia.
Byk words yg dia tangkap..eventhough mommy xbrapa gemar esp tang bola. Daddy yeay..dia pun yeay..daddy jerit GOAL!dia pun GOAL juga..yg plg klakar daddy jerit nama "Roya!" (one of the Klate players) dia pun "ROya!" juga.."GHADDAR!" pun "GHADDAR!~" juga..hehehe..funny sungguh..

Last nite, Iman ikut/imitate daddy solat.Daddy bentang sejadah utk dia..dia bleh follow daddy..tp bila rukuk tu sampai tersondol2 kepala..bila sujud, smp terbabas2 ke sejadah daddy.hahaha. Pics smlm xdelah plak..maybe tonite mommy try to get some :)

Now at 13mths++ :: Iman's a big boy now :)

Emotional-wise : He is very attentive and sensitive.
Physical-wise : My big boy could already run (ok la walk so fast especially when the fridge is wide open..ha yg ni mmg pantang!!)  :)

And he understands instructions, and praises well.

Kalau buat somthing and org praise him 'pandai'!!
He'll clap his hands and smile proudly.

Kiss pipi.Wet kiss :p
 Kadang2 kasi pipi sendiri kat org suruh kiss.

Bleh dah suruh g tutup pintu.

Speechwise - Still WIP. I really want to teach him to communicate in English..tp sendiri pun kat umah xckp English..huh. Need to try harder after this. Azam for after this.

Iman is 13mths today!~

Alhamdulillah Iman had finally taken his first steps yesterday.Yeay!!~

Some mommies may find this quite late. But I always believe that every baby is unique :) 

Milestones achieved are unique as well :)

Counting to 10steps in a row baru valid for mommy to declare. And he did it!

My baby could now officially walk unsupported. I waited for ages for this moment :) 

Congratulations baby!!~

 This achievement really out shined others so far that mommy could remember.

At 13mths :: Pipi dh makin tembam :)

Tangan debab nak pegang angry bird on own shoes.

 

At 13mths, Iman had achieved a lot like other 13mths old do.

Now a toddler, Iman demands to eat by himself. Jerit2 nak makan sendiri. Holding his own food and spoon.

Independent sungguh! By last, food ends up more on the floor than in his mouth. Tapi xpe, belajar. Favorite finger foodies- cucumber, apples and bananas of course! :)

Wants a bite, tapi nak pegang sendiri..aduhai *pengsan*

In terms of speech skills, Iman baru nak blajar simple words. Masters in several words already ::  in calling daddy, ma-mei (his version of mommy), g-mammma (grandma), pak Udah (my brother Ali), saying cu (susu), nak and a few other simple words.

Responses on questions asked :: Cepat2 g kat horse bila mommy tnya mana horse?Tepuk2 horse.

Mana motorcycle? Cpat2 g kat motorcycle :)

Bila mommy tnya siapa nama Hadzrey Iman?Iman angkat tgn saying aye! (saya!)

Bila mommy tnya siapa budak baik? Iman angkat tgn saying aye! (saya!)

Bila mommy tnya siapa budak pandai? ? Iman angkat tgn saying aye! (saya!)

Then clap hands.. :) Sejuk hati mommy..

Suka tiru gaya org skrg esp his idol :: daddy.

Bahaya ni..so daddy kena berperangai baik and lbh bersopan santun pasni.

And character is now more distinctive..teliti, aggressive, sensitive and adventurous :)

Once pernah daddy pernah hail someone outside the window while driving and iman tiru.

OMG! Not good!~

No no Iman..that is not good.

Owh..its really hard when it comes to teaching manners and good behavior. (--“)

Best is to demonstrate but even we are ourselves not that well mannered. Aiyahh..cmana tuh?Huhu~

Mission still not accomplished: Teeth brushing lessons!

Ok we’ll see about that soon!

So far, Iman seems happy and undisturbed with our new homey. Well, mommy thinks as long as mommy, daddy and all his toys are still around :: nothing else matters much.Good boy!!~

Ok, Iman be a good boy and grow up strong, intelligent, well mannered, beriman and healthily :)

Word-less wednesdays - Iman 12 mths 3weeks :)

Problem susu now..refuse to finish milk and now pandai nak picky2 makan (--")
If susu kotak dutch lady perasa strawberry-habes..aiyohh..mana bleh syg intan payung ku Iman.
Nanti gigi kamu rongak belaka dek gula..aduss..

And still not want to let-go-hands to walk alone.
But yg itu mommy xrisau sangat. i know Iman xmau susahkan mommy kna kejar2 dgn perut besar sb iman dh pandai walk, run and hop!~

Milestone Iman : 11mths :)

Happy tuesday peeps!~

Smlm MC. Mommy hi BP sb jaga Iman yg dmam and muntah2 whole nite before.
Terus rasa darah tangkap kepala (ada ke such ungkapan?huhu~)

Hari ni nk update milestone Iman. Anak bujang mommy yg makin bijak pandai ni.
Sian Iman. Mommy busy xsempat nak update Iman's milestone.Sorry sgt2 Iman. mommy always sayang Iman..tp kdg2 mommy jd pelupa.Xmenang tgn :)

At 11mths Iman dah pandai :

1. Pandai minum guna straw. skrg juices mommy dh kna share sejak dua menjak ni..:)

2. Pandai make use of everyday tool. Eg remote control (hala ke tv then tekan-penuh gaya tau). comb (use comb to stroke hair wlu kdg2 missed..haha..so funny this boy). senduk (pura2 ceduk kuah dr pots and bowl ms play masterchef while mommy prepare dinner)..byk tiru gaya cmane org

3. Emotionally developed.Bila tgk mommy nangis (ok easily nangis these days even tgk drama melayu pun..), dia pn start cebik and kdg2 nangis. Klu daddy marah, jengil mata sket..sb mommy marah dia xheran..mula cebik muka..then meraung la..

4. Wants mommy in the room at ALL times.Klu mommy nk g toilet pn nak ikut..daddy xpe.xde hal.

5. Use everything as walker.Pushes furniture around and also laundry basket.Chairs esp.

6. Panjat segala furniture..katil mommy.sofa.dining chairs.sume dh kna panjat.OMG!

7. Xmau naik walker dh..kangkang kaki xmau kasi mommy letak dlm walker.

8, Bila mommy larang kata no..dia akan ckp "e eh..e ehh.." repeatably. mcm gaya2 org marah blk bila kna marah.belajar kat mana ntah ni..

9. Dah ada 5 gigi atas (still halfway..) and 2 yg bawah. Next mission : toothbrush and toothbrushing classes!!~

10. Iman weights 9.8kg as for 11mths!Way to go baby..as for a picky eater.Kurus je anak mommy ni..mkn byk, tp pastu work-out nya mmg mommy xmenang tangan..aduyai (--"). Alhamdulillah~

As Iman now suka sgt main air..mommy plan nk beli ni la..utk Iman. maybe after his birthday. Cute sgt!~

Froggie Pool!!~

Ai xsabar nak masuk rumah baru and can have Iman playing in this pool in the lawn.Aha...

Skrg ni tgh memikirkan mcm mana lah penerimaan Iman nanti bila adik dh keluar. As of today Iman and mommy still have 119days lagi to figure that out and have time of our own. Mmg betul la agak nya org ckp yg hati seorg ibu ni sgt besar..cukup kasih sayangnya utk semua anak2nya eventho byk bilangan anak2nya.

And mmg lazimnya lah..the first one will always be the special one and irreplacable no matter how old the chils has become.The first one will alwayd have the special place in his Mother's heart :)

Insyallah..everything will be arranged accordingly by Allah's will fixing each piece of the puzzle at the correct moment when we least expected it.

Kisah anak anak :)

Just to record progress week 20 anak..and 10.5mths for another anak...


As for baby...
Intense kicking and movement already felt rapidly by this week.
Especially when brother Iman is on top of my stomach.
Alhamdulillah.Baby is actively growing :)

" Ya Allah, aku begitu kepingin inginkan seorang puteri utk kali ini. Yang dpt mewarnai dan melengkapkan hidup kami sekeluarga. Seronok jd ibu ni..seronok tp letih..letih pregnant, kerja and blk play role of a mother pula.
Wonder how my mom did this once upon a time dulu...
letih2 masak tetiba iman dtg tepuk tgn :) mulut becok mcm appraise mommy 'pandai!' :)
Sejuk hati tgk..terus hilang letih..rebus 1000 biji keledek, 100 periuk bubur nasi pun mommy sanggup..
Xsabar nk tunggu Iman pandai sebut " Mommy ni cantikla.." hahahaha...dream on...









Abg Iman pn dah 10.5mths this week :)
Dah besar dh anak mommy..Jom kita update milestone for abang up to today :

1. Gigi still 2.Berjalan still on progress :)
2.Dah pandai merajuk!!!Kalau nak apa2..mesti nk dpt klu mommy xbagi.ambil brg lain campak2.bila mommy bagi-dh xmau dh brg tu.hehehe~
3.Pandai tepuk tgn applause bila org ckp "pandai"!~
4. Bye-bye org yg dia nk je..klu xsuka kna tggal->xmau byebye..
5.Panjat tgga sendiri smpai atas..masuk bilik.turun tgga belum pandai :P
6.Suka baca buku.ada 3buku favorite..favorite sgt smp koyakkan buku2 itu!!OMG!~
7.Suka bergendang.
8.Baru discover yg pintu almari boleh dibuka..dan byk interesting stuff mommy simpan dlm kabinet2 itu..huh (--")
9. Suka bila mommy buka peti ais.Mcm mommy buka peti harta karun ;P Merangkak laju sgt..then stand by kat tepi mana tau mommy buka peti ais lagi dlm masa terdekat..No no baby-I know your tactics! ;p
10. Dah pandai panjat keluar walker...aisehmen!
11. Picky eater dh..klu xsuka sembur2 kan keluar semula.amboi-amboi~
12.Suka sangat sangat sangat dgn Upin & Ipin. Boboboy xlayan :P
13. Suka ajuk mommy masak..klu mommy bg senduk plastic and periuk..kemain lagi keletang keletung..mommy ingat nk beli kan Iman set masak2 mainan..bg jd masterchef junior.tp daddy takut tok ayah pengsan tgk cucu jate dia main masak2.hahaha :P


Tu je lah kot utk hari ni..
Klu nk senaraikan mmg xabes2..hehehhee...still kecik lagi nk fahamkan concept " ada adik ".ai entah bila la tuh :)

Iman is 9mths already!

Alhamdulillah..Iman is 9MO today! yeah!~

Some milestones I would like to record for Iman.
For me..for daddy and for Iman himself :)

1. Still not walking by himself but going to..insyallah.Just a lil bit more!Come on Iman you can do it!~
2. Loves Upin and Ipin to bits.. :)
3. Loves iklan Ribena kat TV. Klu tgh nangis ttba keluar iklan tu bleh joget2..hahaha..so funny.
4. Calls his daddy deddek..haha.lawak gila..ketuk2 pintu bilik air pggil "deddek..deddek.." in tone yg separa nangis.
5. Doenst call me yet.Xpe..the time will come :) .ok la tu..xsanggup di panggil memmek..hahaha.
6. Baru ada satu gigi..another one br nmpak surface.
7.Eats a lot..nasi lemak ada smbal pn nk juga..isk3..Poo laaaaaaaaaagi la a lot hahaha.
8.Fav game-Peek-a-boo.
9. Ada 6books in collection dh skrg but only favour one book.Suka books dr toys..yeay!Mommy suka.
10. Gelak kekek kekek klu daddy buat kelakar.Favorite: tgk daddy timbang bola..bersinar2 mata.
11.The one and only fan of daddy bila daddy karaoke..hahahha..siap buat gaya nk sing-a-long..and rebut2 mic.

Well..dh besar dah anak mommy.
Mommy suka sgt :) Every second is really worth of it :)
9mths sekejap je rasa bila baby dh lahir..tp 9mths nak tggu lahir dulu rs mcm forever..hehe..

Iman is 7mths today!~ Yeahhh~~~

Alhamdullilah baby Iman's doing great..start to sit by his own and start crawling by now..and achieve what he is supposed to do.

Iman, mommy is so proud of you..just can't wait to hear you call me 'mommy' instead your usual 'eyh' now :)






4 to 7 months
Your baby knows his name now and understands that you're speaking to him when you say it. He'll even respond by turning toward you. He's becoming more attuned to your tone of voice, too. When you sound happy, he'll react joyfully, and if you speak to him sharply he'll become distressed and may cry. He's also beginning to tell the difference between strangers and people he knows, and he may cry when you put him in the arms of someone he doesn't recognize.


8 to 12 months
Your baby's beginning to understand simple requests. Say "no" when he tries to touch an electrical outlet, for example, and he'll pause and look at your face — maybe even shake his head "no" in return.


He's also testing your responses to his behavior. He'll throw food on the floor just to see what you'll do, and then file your response in his memory bank. Later he'll test the waters again to see whether you react the same way.
