Aroma Ikan Bakar Jeram Review (2020)

Assalam semua...! Tp masa ni saja nak cari kelainan jejak tmpat yg tak pernah pergi lg di Selngor sb masih dlm larangan merentas negeri. Jadi yukk lah kita menjejak area sini.

Kami sampai dlm 645pm gitu, masih lagi siang and just nice utk dinner. Masa ni mmg gamble je takde call in booking booking. Kalau ada rezeki adalah. Mmg sentiasa ramai org sini, antara favorite org tempatan and yg dtg dari jauh mcm kami,

Masuk masuk, kena beratur dia ambil terus order air dan food selain seafood (nasi, sambal belacan, sayur, telur etc), bagi number meja assigned untuk kita, and tunjukkan seafood parlour untuk kita pilih mana yang nak. Alhmdulillah rezeki kami mmg dpt meja plg tepi gigi air and dkt dgn surau. Di tempat pilih ikan dah tulis siap siap food prep 1hour-1.5hour. Omak aii..tp takpe lah ada hiburan tgk desiran pantai, makan buah and aiskrim yg dijual kat tepi pantai tu. Keadaan air and pantai pun bersih je.. mmg diorg jaga. seatings mmg byk and ada pondok pondok family privacy yang rsnya kena add payment dlm rm20 cmtu. oklah klau nk buat birthday ke..famuly gath makan makan ke,,haa sesuai lah

Ambil gambar dulu. Ni dari area meja kami.. mmg dkt dgn gigi air. Bila masuk Maghrib, kami solat dulu sementara tunggu makanan sampai. Surau dan toilet alhmdulillah bersih dan selesa.Kawasan dia besar and byk lounging areas untuk kids move around walaupun tak ada play area/play ground. maybe lepas ni pihak pengurusan boleh pertimbangan buat satu. Inflatable slides pun dah ok mcm di MZ Bangi or King's CKT Port Dickson.

Memang seperti dijanjikan, makan mmg smpai lepas satu jam, betul betul elok ja kami habis solat semua. Seafood mmg fresh, and masakan disini bolehlah dikatakan sedap. cara masakan mcm mmg Selangor style bukan manis mcm kelantan/thai style so saya suka. Tak byk penggunaan daun ketumbar mcm thai food. Inshallah next time.

So ok lah our final verdict :

Food = 9.5/10
Ambience =10/10
Waiting period = 5/10 (we waited for 1hour 20mins by walk-in)
Guest management/seafood parlour viewing = 8/10
SOP compliance = 9/10
Facilities (space/surau/toilet/parking) = 8.5/10
Overall cleanliness= 9/10
Price = Standard pricing for seafood (compared to Melaka and Bagan Lalang). All above including nasi for 7 (opps!) and 1jug of jus tembikai totals up to = RM150.

Overall
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐4.75 stars!

Would we come again? Inshallah if ada masa kesini lagi mmg akan jd dlm top list!

So till then guys,,

Love,

Zahra

Penang..again! Coz we love Penang!

Assalam guys!

So well, it has been days (or months) of hiatus, but im still determined to write. Kalau tak banyak sedikit pun tak apa kan. Janji the spirit of writing is still there and somehow i loved to read up again what have happened to me before. Kinda diary writing juga. Inshallah bermanfaat for my kiddos once they've discovered this blog.

So then, we went to Penang for a short staycation away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This time we tried Copthorne Orchid for our economical stay and would like to see what they can offer. Alhmdulillah everything was up to expectation. The pool, the private hotel beach, the bathtub, even the breakfast spread was really nice.4 stars from me indeed! And to add the excitement, this time around my sister Zakiyya and family came together and we agreed to book the same hotel. I could say this hotel is just worth the stay.

Well, we went to the famous eatery spots for foodies, and tried ais tingkap (sarbat). Had really awesome char kuey teow at Shamrock beach, and also went to visit the disco pasemboq uncle in Gurney drive. Sedap baq hang. That's really the main actually what Penang could offer. Food! The closing was of course our favorite Nasi Beriyani Kambing Kapitan, heaven on earth this one!

Balik naik feri for the kiddos experience and then the Pak Ali Jeruk pit stop..then back to Bukit Merah before heading down south to beloved KL!

Sikit sikit jalah kita tulis. Nanti kita tulis lg nah..refreshing trip alhmdulillah! From all the smelly tap water, haze lagi and the #uninstallfoodpanda campaign lagi..i really had a good time..yeah!

Lets definitely do Penang again!

Love,

Zahra

Hill and Chill Homestay Fraser's Hill Review

Assalam. Hi all!

During our stay in FH recently, we decided to stay in Silver Park Resort renting one unit via airbnb. It turned out that the house was so nice, clean and cozy, we would like to keep our reviews about it here. Just to note that this is a free review.

For a last minute booking, we landed upon this unit of 2bedrooms and 2bathrooms for less than RM250. Here. I can say its worth every penny paid! Alhmdulillah rezeki kami masa tu.

Lets have a virtual tour around the house.

The living room area and balcony

Beautiful nature view from the balcony

Subuh view

Overall i can give this homestay an overall of 8/10 stars for its price, location and cozyness.
The only cons is that you have to climb up 2 storeys to reach the apartment and the are is quite remote. Maybe we'll come again inshallah~

Staycation @ Fraser's Hill 2019

Hello everyone! Its August already, the month full of celebrations and merdeka mood. This aidil adha time around upon Mak's request, we went for a short staycation to Fraser's Hill. And to be honest it was my first time there. Hehehe.

Fraser's Hill is actually a heritage spot with a lot of British Colonial Houses/Bungalows around now became a small township with only around 500 people actually staying here. Others were like us, the people coming for a short stay. However, the township is quite complete with a police station, schools, masjid, clinic and even a post office.

It is really a place for nature lovers seeking for a peaceful and breezy cold getaway. Located only 2hours drive via Rasa/KKB route, the windy roads uphill was really an adventure on its own, and a lovely green sigjht for forest dwellers. There are quite few nice spots we visited on our stay there. alhmdulillah everything went well and i had a relieve for my stressful past month working.

Still in holiday mood , tho..let the pictures talk for themselves.

We went for some strawberry hunting and ended up there is only one place selling and planting strawberries up there.haha

5 guys and 5 girls.heheh

The icon of the small town

We took the road not taken climbing up Jeriau Waterfalls. Its was really a nice walk into the woods. Cantik! lama tak masuk hutan

Kids just having fun

Kawsar and Mikhail jumping onto mommylong

Public park down hill

The morning me and hubs went for a nasi lemak hunt

Food stalls and shops are around but very limited. Therefore quite expensive. For me, let it be that way rather than being too commercialized like Cameron Highlands. Let the greens and the calmness offered be there for those loving the calmness and appreciate nature

At one of the planting homes, giant Hibiscus!

My beloved

And one for the album!

So till then Fraser's Hill, we had a splendid time enjoying our coffee on the cold morning balcony, and freezing night here. We spend our night in the Silver Park Resort Homestay from AirBNB. It was really a cozy house, I'll try to write about it soon, perhaps..

Till then we meet again inshallah! :)

Bye bye !
