Weekend with the Kids

Hi there!

Going slow since 2016 aren't we,eh? well busy at work really gives a toll on me these days. i even hardly go out for lunch these days and prefers quite weekends at home, cleaning cooking and errr..sleeping. Got few new routines these days especially with Iman's intensive reading lessons. Yes, his dad is trying to prove me wrong by getting iman tested for adhd. Well, a test doesnt hurts kan? so far plans to NASOM are still not done.no plans so far. 

So weekends are mainly short outings, some homecookings, some readings and plentiful of playing. The boys now had grew into bicycle enthusiasts - from dawn to dusk, they will cycle, suka sangat heh. I dont really mind and as long i keep the gates locked they are free to play in within our small compound, nasiblah korg kan..rumah kecik ja. but i dare not leave a blink of an eye the boys open out, not these days especially. Too scary with too many maniacs out there.

Saturday was just lazy day. We slept in all of us and decided to wake up at 10. Yeay. Sedap tido,, hubs was working so when i sent him a pic of us 3 under the covers he was furiously jelous..haha. We watched movies and played puzzles and color random pictures all day. Even daddy couldnt stand it and came home to dooze off a bit at lunch and had to drag his tail out for afternoon work. yeahh..he works weekends. Well, i really like him working weekends actually. Hahaha.. Takpa syg CNY we'll take a really long break and go huha in Kelantan ya. 

Too laid off on Saturday, mommy decided to have some kids activity on Sunday. So we did some bathroom painting artsy. This was really a hit with both they painted the walls and floor and the toilet all purple. and then we rinse everything off again. Iman was really happy doing this he asked if we an do this everyday. Well we'll about that young man. If you do your reading well, we can i presume :)

Later that afternoon, after Ultramen made his debut for that day on Astro Ceria, i asked them if they would like to make some chocholate muffins with mommy. At first only amsyar responded and tail-gated mommy back and fro setting up all ingredients. Then when the fun had started, Iman decided to charge in. 

 

We decided to make simple muffins, amsyar putting together all the dry ingredients , flour, sugar, cocoa powder and baking soda and also choc chips, Iman on the other hand mixed up eggs, oil and milk in a measuring cup. Then i asked iman to mix both dry and wet together, mixing it carefully. He's a talented au natural chef indeed. so strong, who needs a mixer anyway. Amsyar puts ther cups in a row so that i can fill them in. Both were too happy when the muffin pops out. Sibuk claim from daddy that these were his muffins. Yes indeed dear, your muffins. Good job!

Kids kan, all they need is our attention, and working moms like me really feel the guilt for not always being there for them. So lets make the most out of weekends. An ice cream treat out later on a busy hectic day sometimes what matters most to them :)

More family time to go for 2016 jomm..more getaways and holidays to plan jom!

October dah ni..in fact we're already on the 9th!!!

Lotsa happenings these two weeks. I was only at work for two days. Two days for two weeks imagine that? Dah macam org g haji ke apa. Haze already cleared off shah alam's sky and maybe we can see what we can do this weekend around! Iman and Amsyar Nak exam next week..but why not? Being 4 and 3 aren't for exams yet kannnnnnnn... So we'll see whats for the weekends.

Had my first neb after 30 yrs last wednesday. I was diagnosed with bronchitis after few different docs diagnosed me with different things. For those two days, i could hardly breath all the way in and out to parking lot from the office, i thought i was really really gemuk and finally had a heart attack (--") well it turned out that my lungs were filled with phlegm already gluing the alveolar together making the O2 and Co2 exchange really low. which explains why i coudnt catch my breath with the haze, the works and whatnot. Then i was sent for bed rest for 2days. hmm..

I wish I'm a lil more healthier this weekend.inshallah...for these little two munchkins.

Iman writes his own name for the first time! Oh man i was really in awe. i though he was dyslexic all this time! Bad mommy (--")

Time flies ugaiz..dh October ni lagi 2 mths nak 2016. Which is a yay and nay for me. Byk plans ahead for 2016 and 2017 ni. Mommy kena sihat! I talked to hubby about putting off weight but he likes me this way. Hmm..i said, cuba tgk kalau a lil bit off maybe you'll like me more ke?Dia jawap - What if i dont? Haaaaa...cmne tu. But jgn be too surprised i can still wear my baju tunang after 6yrs so oklah kan...mainten gemukk..hmm. i guess yg penting is to be healthy..gemuk ke kurus ke..yg penting kuat and sihat!



See these two.Too jambu to be superheroes eh? Hahahaah.. Tokma kelate slalu sebut..mukanya lembut, orgnya boleh tahan buas..hahaha..true mama.betul sgt doh tu.. G berjalan ke Giant dkt rumah je smlm, grabbing some groceries. Niat nk beli puting bottles je..tuptup receipt 100+ juga..hahaha..biasalah ;p (rasa mcm ambil tembikai rm3.50 je) acaner tah jadik 100 ;P

Campur campur caca marba

Hello lovelies!!!

Salam jumaat :)

Love the fact that its Friday already yeah!! Hehe.

I  took an emergency leave yesterday telling the team amsyar is not well. And in fact that he is oklah dh, dah kebah alhmdulillah. And I sent him to school to treat my big baby..aiyoo. Day 4 working night shift, he's all cranky and demam already.yelah balik nk peluk bini, bini kerja. manja nau baby besar ni. We went on a big fight the day before, so takpelah..mommy ambil cuti lah emergency nk jaga awak ni ha. Well, that's what spouse do for their spouses kann? (kalau boss baca nih matiklah..) I cooked and cleaned and put my big baby to bed and was free after. The boys were at school and i had the house all to myself...best nyaaaa..then i was thinking of how all nice, sugar and spice it would be if i had a girl kan. takdelah all guns and soldiers and robots and ultramen kat rumah ni kan? Tgk pics anak che ta..mmg bestnyaa... 

miss my baby masa he was a real baby ;p

Ok stop. No babies for now. No no no :p Tetiba ;p

Life's manageable so far with daddy working night time..no red punchcard so far for this week (phew! today was 7.55!) with Iman and amsyar all cranky and all. But thank God its only for this week. No more please daddy ya? 

Yeahhh..im still working on my new hantaran project, so let me give you some teaser! Mmg taksiap apa pun lg. Nak buat design cermin cermin tapi xcukup bajet so this will be the theme that i really hope suits hubs sis yang mmg muda sweet 21 baru :) 

So what's your weekend plan? since syawal has come to it's end and we're heading off to Zulhijjah for Eidul Adha already. And we plan to visit an old friend of mine tho post raya tapi xpelah..hehehe. I ordered myself few on sale books as well today just to treat myself. Oh ya..i treat myself with books, not handbags thats how nerd i am. So if you got time boleh lah jenguk2 PTS ni. Talking bout sales byk sales going on and ends this weekend juga (minggu belom gaji nih!urgh!) like IKEA SALE, Poney Warehouse Sale Seri kembangan and also mothercare sales! Hujan

Hello mommies! Hari yang sangap and merindui anak2..tambah sangap bila member office hour chitchatting pun kebetulan MC today. urghhhh.. Kat luar pun hujan lebat sangat menambahkan kesyahduan tghari rabu mcm ni. Pagi tadi siap byk juga kerja. byk lg xsiap tp wpp sangap dpt menyiapkan tugasan utama yg dh dpt greenlight dr Director Division (alhmdulillah!), still sangap taktau kenapa.. Maybe inner stress sebab laki i keroje mlm! Adoi. 

So these days i have to do A to Z everything to get iman and Amsyar to school on time! Huhuhu...supermom cape mode ON! Yelah i ni jenis #clingywifey semua laki buat esp in the morning rush. Tugas I in the morning, kemas bags, iron everybody's outfit and arrange them in order! Kejut the 3guys...Then ill pack the breakfast packs. Siapkan diri I, and tunggu dlm kereta. Ha. 

Yang lain semua cik abe settlekan dr mandi anak, pkaikan baju, style kan rmbut, buat susu, buka pintu and pagar, and lock them back. hmm syukurlah dah 5thn begini kan zahra..nak nangis lah bila semua kna buat sendiri. padahal org lain??? Begitulah. hmmmmmm.  

Cepatlah weekends! Nak spend time with these two. Plan this week nk blk umah mak, tp tgk lah mcm mana. I really need my time off cepatlah 31 ogos i nak abeskan kemas umah and siapkan project hantaran. Oh ya,, i have hantaran jobs to do for my SIL and we are going to have bulubulu theme (I chose that! haha). Kita buat colors yg mmg sgt girly girly pink with putih dgn ribbons, lace, feathers and all. yeay! Haih bilatah nak dpt buka kedai pengantin idaman tah,, doing what i love most. Ni mlm2 dh penat tgk hantaran pun dh xde mood. Hubby keroje lagilerr rs kelaut jeeeeee... manja nau nau kan akak ko sorang ni.

Weekend ni juga nak catch up with few old friends. last weekend my school bff came to our house beraya wpn dh masuk zulkaedah tp no prob everyday is hari raya. happy tau kengkawan dtg rumah wpn teratak i beginilerrrr..sofa pun dh koyak koyak malas beli baru tggu anak besar dlu. Tgk gambar bwh ni. this was us 10yrs ago. Klasiklah gambar dedolu. i nak g umah ayu this weekend bwk pendrive nak simpan segala kenangan zaman uni yg ada. ayu ada byk...my pc dh kaput kna sambar kilat 7yrs ago. Haihlah ms ni kurus sikitlah dr skrg adelah 20kg kurang (--") hahahahahahahahahahaa.,,,kurus byk eh ;)

Bebel bebel je arini. cerita ceriti sikit. main point is cepatlah weekends..haha. nampak sgt pekerja cemrlang kann..baru rabu dh nak cpt weekends! hahaha. ok lah, byk bende nk plan nak buat weekends ni yeay! jomm mommies plan! yelah kita kan mmg priority hidup is to liven up the weekends kan? Weekday works ni adalah untuk survive and pay for the weekend life ;p saje je gurau gurau.. Till then

I've been so busy lately...

 *cries*

Too much drama as of now. We'll try to keep everything down a lil bit and keep everything under control. 10 projects all in listed, my hands are really kept occupied. And for life, there's few things going on as well, with Iman's teacher resigning and all the whatnots, we all have to keep the tyres rolling kann.

Hello peeps! Its March school holidays!

Salam and Goodmorning lovelies!

How were your days? :)

School holidays have started kan? so yeay! Sb everyday is jammed free days. 2 days jemmed free so far. alhmdulillah :) Iman n amsyar well of course still needs to go to daycare at school. kesian, sebab mommy diorg bukan cikgu..nk buat mcmana :) But worry no more as we're going back balik kampung tonight! yeay!

I took 3 days off (18,19,20th) so that we can go back peacefully this time. and mashallah, LHDN claims are already banked-in. so, double joy yeay! Have you done yours? You should do it fast u know, its your money. Unless you need to pay rather than claim then that's a different story :)

Weekends was relaxing, tho me down w fever, but nevertheless we had such fun at home rearranging some furniture yeay! Just the usuals, but it is just nice to refreshen up our home once in a while :)

Alhmdulillah more good news for this week. Yesterday was one of my happiest day when i was reunited with this watch i lost 2 years ago while pumping milk for amsyar. This piece is not that mush expensive but holds a sentimental value for me i couldn't even put a price on it.Thank you Allah. It was there all the time in the surau. And they found it when the old racks were moved out from the surau for some painting work. Masyallah :) Rezeki comes it ways you least expected doesn't it?  

So farewell everyone! Pray for our safe journey inshallah back and fro our kampung.  Inshallah we'll go via the beautiful coast of Terengganu on the way back to watch some turtles y'all! :)

Busy nau gamaknya..busy kerr?

Assalamualaikum kawan2 :)

It's Thursday! Yeay!!!

So, what's up? apa cerita hari ni. Busy lately, nak menyembang pun xsempat. Sempatlah menyampuk sepatah dua kata dlm WA group, mcm tu jelah. Busy with crazee projects with crazee deadlines. Mcm biasa. February pun dh masuk ari ke 12. Kita apa pun xbuat lagi utk tahun ni punya targets. 

Next week will be the CNY holidays! yippee yay yay! Plan asalnya nk kelik klate, tapi sb dh blk emergency awal bln aritu, most probably next trip will be next March la plak kan. Berhabis duit nak balik slalu. And this year's target is for minimalis spending. Yups! Astro pun dh potong only for basics. so yeah... first step done! 60% penjimatan. Next maybe we'll see what to do with Amsyar's potty training :) Diaperless means rm100 penjimatan lg yeahhh! Small portions when totaled up sums quite a lot ya? At this stage the phase is already 75% completion for amsyar. So the target is 36mths old. And we'll still 2.5mths away :)

So talking about CNY, the plan B is a retreat in PD with my family..yes my side! Yeay. As for the last minute change, almost all hotels and resorts are already full booked! and an apartment i finally managed to book declined the offer..er well yesterday! Gila!

Marah betul aku..but what to do..deposits was returned but the damage? adoi. Moga ada lah rezeki nk book another place with our budgets. My aunt and mom are all coming to gather, and my cousins already secured their accomodations. sigh. worst come to worst balik tido sepang jelah kan...50 km away je from PD...hewhewhew. nak wat gane...

So doalah dpt tempat tido yg ok dgn bajet ciput ini. jom mencari lagikkkkkk!

Nak dijadikan cerita, our persona after the alternator change, we refreshed the ECU setting, and voilaaaaa...now the babe is running really smoothly. Latest achievement was 35L for 520km! which is from pasirmas to saujana putra! Hows that for a start. and i noticed few things such as the rpm was only at 2500 and lower at 90kph so thats great. and booming noise was only at 3500rpm at 140kph. Err ok..too much numbers for a mommy blog isn't it? hahaha. Yada yada and the most nice thing is that the horn came back to life again after fusely inactivated for errr 4yrs. Nice baby you are black beauty. Thank you Allah for this rezeki :)

I had to drive myself back and forth to our 2nd office in Cyberjaya for our design review, and alhmdulillah -rm10  worth of petrol is enough :) Baguih dok ada la..loni.. :) Nice office they have there u know. On the 18th floor, the view was mashallah..so nice :) But to stay there..that's a complete different idea. Sorry but staying in the middle of cyberjaya (Shaftsbury Square) where lunch is mahal oi..and the stress level is 150%. Tidak lah kot :) If im needed then ill come bolehlaa..

Syukur pada apa yang ada

Salam lovelies :)

Alhmdulillah, back in the office today. Was on EL yesterday as Iman was down w conjunctivitis on mommy's birthday. Sobs! So I took one day off to take care of him esp in terms of food as being adviced by the doctor. Only one day la kot..coz he seems to be progressing well alhmdulillah. And of course we did the old wives tales suggestions - a drop of mommy's milk ;) Effective tau.try it.ikhtiar.

Sleeping in...sebab CUTIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!

Food restrictions was the norm -no so called itch/allergy provoking food like eggs, chicken, prawns, only meat, and fishes with scales. So, we had shell pasta with Arabian sauce.hehe..Arabian la sgt..I just substituted oregano w cumin.and the rest was as usual, tomato paste, carrots, ground beef. The boys loved it!! :)



Then, I was really thinking hard for a tea tine snack that doesn't incorporate eggs in its recipe well, instead of donuts. So I tried this simple dahlia cookies resipe I got from the net. 3ingredients sahaja. Nice!
Well, my nozzles were limited so the dahlia's came out to be roses-like. hehe.at least still in flower category oklah kan?kehkehkeh. And it tasted sort of meringue-like melts in the mouth style cookies. A little bit like kuih bangkit but minus the santan taste.

Let me share it later for all :) Sedap and senang. Totally will be in my resipe list. I really would like to have a family resipe scrap book. That would be nice kan? For all the recipe's in my kitchen that had 'worked' the way I like it would. This will totally be in my to-do list soon.2014 project kan? Handwritten la kan? A pure classic. Berangan! :p


Lama tak membebel lama.weekends was full with cookings and laughter in the house.and also mommy's pre birthday celebration daddy blanja sate kajang at kajang..yeahh.. Thank u daddy darling. Love you! One of our fav place. Classic sajor..no need hi end restaurants, we love simplicity :)

Assalamualaikum :)

Salam Jumaat everybody :)

Just noticed that i haven't posted a lot of pictures lately as we were quite occupied and still puzzled with the disappearance of flight Mh370. And also the haze and not to forget the water supply shortage we were just overwhelmed with too many issues lately. Hopefully all these could make us turn back to our Creator more and love or loved ones lend to us temporarily more often.

So these are picture of us, our stories :)

Iman's school monthly celebration was last week, so mommy bought this ultraman cake. Personally i think the banning of ultraman is just a case of mis interpreting the book from Japanese to Malay. Salah tafsir. ( If you know about this issue) So stop with that. 

Iman was so happy with the cake and as  usual so spirited to go to school. Alhamdulillah so happy, it melted my heart each morning after being dressed up by daddy he will run to me doing some ironing screaming out:. Dah siap!!! :)

So happy birthday celebration Iman! Hopefully the celebration was a blast :) I'm still waiting for the pictures from Arif Minda's fb :)

Ni plak kisah lain, kisah tag mommy. Yang lama dah kena digantikan dgn yang baru sejajar peredaran syarikat. Sedar tak sedar dh tahun ke-7 disini. Sudah 6tahun+ memakai tag ini. Alhamdulillah. ketembaman dlm tag pun terserlah diantara 7thn itu adalah 2org anak dan 20kg..hahah. Kalau dikira dari training, 2007 dh masuk tahun ke-8. Kalau dr zaman anak skolar 2004, sudah 10tahun dlm keluarga besar ini. Banyak pahit manis disini. Bertemu jodoh pun disini. Alhamdulillah, disinilah punca rezeki mommy. 

Kesempatan dihujung minggu lepas juga dapatlah menjenguk menghirup udara di tmn botani putrajaya. Minggu ni tak dapatlah.catatan ipu sgt menyedihkan. Sudah tahap bahaya. Anak anak tidak puas nak bermain. Lain kali ya anak2 kita bawak roti byk byk utk ikan makan :) W/pn roti pun dh mahal skrg.

Dulu ada roti buku rm1.00. skrg mana ada lagi ;'(

Amsyar pun berehat rehat sahaja. Sudah pukul 10pagi pn masih tak mahu mandi ;p

Main dilaman rumah yang sekangkang kera tapi cukuplah buat kami.alhamdulillah.. Pagi pagi meneman mommy menyidai segala baju,seluar, towel, selimut, cadar, bantal dan karpet juga (eheh..byk plak disidai yer..) . Aktiviti wajib hujung minggu..tp minggu ni tak boleh lah.minggu ni jerebu teruk

Pokok pokok pun mati cuaca panas yang amat :'(

U can make anything into anything you want, u just have to believe :)

Recently mommy got them these gears. One for each :) and of course both suka :) Kemain happy diorg. But still cannot be fully utilized yet. Jerebu oi. Nak main kat luar mcm mana! Sad.

XS satu.. S satu.. nanti kita upgrade ya..

Doa doalah hujan wknds ni. Supaya jerebu ok sket. Sedih. Biar hujan smp krisis air takde lagi. Pagi tadi adik ofis siap smp kul 9.30pg gara gara terpaksa g mandi kat R&R. Alhamdulillah rumah kita air tak dicatu. Mungkin belum lagi. Siapa tahu.

Happiness doesnt mean a lot of money or a big house, it is you and the people you loved in it that makes a happy home, a happy home :)

I will have to work tomorrow, however. :Leaving my loved ones to daddy. My first experience interviewing for an engineer post. Wish me luck and good guidance to pick the people to join our team from the 350 called to come are those who are really talented . 

And to judge people with kindness and not to have prejudice in my heart.

I seldom did mine even when i was 13.

So yeah.. we're still lenient for that reason ;p

So yesterday i was asking/repeating some pages he learned at school earlier.

It was phonics in BM

Mommy : Ini huruf 'n'. bunyi dia neh neh neh.

Iman : Neh neh neh neh 

Mommy : Neh nuri... Neh Nenas.. Neh.. gamba apo nih?

Iman : Nipah..teacher efa kata nipah.

Mommy : ooo nipah *ni siapa ajar siapa ni?hihihi*  Eh teacher efa siapa? Bukan teacher siti ke? 

Iman : Tak ni teacher efa. cantik

Mommy : Ok.teacher cantik *sigh* jom baca. nnnn.. neh. neh.. neh

Iman : tp mommy..ni bukan nehh nehh.. *turns the book upside down* ni uuuuuu

Mommy : kna kot betul ni.mana boleh baca terbalik. klu kot betul dia jd neh.

Iman : iman nak uuuuu... uuuuu...uuuu.... ubat, ulat..taknak neh

Mommy : (--")

Maybe i was destined not to be a teacher for a lot of reasons.

Our Weekend at Home :)

Assalamualaykum wbt lovelies..

Monday again :)

Sekejap je dah isnin..nak menunggu jumaat rs kemain lama..

So for the last weekend, we just stayed home. And did not much activities. Mommy planned to do some cut and paste and DIY picture frames activity with the boys but the time was not right. So next time lah yerr :)

We spring cleaned and played outdoors instead.

Saturday was waterplay day as Iman request subsequent to his school waterplay day last Friday.

And Sunday was fun just getting dirty play with rocks, wires, hoses and of course black soil ;p

I found therapy to me self and made black pepper puffs, samosa and some cream puffs the next day.The boys are now less clingy and could play together independently, so mommy gets more mommy time in the kitchen :) Its a good feeling to cook your family favorites and these two are surely winners in my house :)

Puff pastry is really easy when we have the frozen puffs. The fillings : ground beef, blackpepper, cumin, onions, garlic, potatoes and carrots :)

Cream puffs, as many don't really know is not a great fuss either :) And this is really really my hubby's favorite. I think i have written the recipe somewhere in this blog adapted from another blogger. But let me simplify it here.

Melt 125g butter in boiling 1 cup of water. Once dissolve stir in 1 cup of flour gradually.

Turn off heat.

Add 4eggs one by one while continue on stirring.
